    Pie won't hit first, but I agree Fukudome looks to be our 2 hitter. Pie would be the worst person to lead off. I don't know about worst, but yeah not a good idea right now. He may end up their in a couple years and excell, but it would be a bad idea to have him there this year.

    The Red Sox had two Japanese players. Perhaps the quest for Matsui and the pursuit of Fukudome can be explained by that. I never thought of that. We're on to Jim's master plan.

    If by dynasty you mean making the playoffs quite a bit in a terrible division and possibly lucking into a World Series, but getting absolutely destroyed by any AL team that makes it, then yes we could be a dynasty. I'll take it, for now, at least.
