  1. Whoa, didn't see that one coming.
  2. I don't think that package gets it done for Tejada and Bedard. I also don't know what we'd have the Angels would want for Santana. Also, I doubt in that scenario that Crawford would bat anywhere other than leadoff.
  3. Oh, I am so very happy. Leave it to a GM worse than ours to keep our GM from making a bad signing.
  4. link We are listed as possible destinations for Tejada and Crawford and the packages we'd give up aren't very far fetched.
  5. I was sure he was gonna re-up with them. Not a surprise.
  6. Sort of an odd trade. The Angels really didn't need pitching and the White Sox, while they need offense, re-signed their starting shortstop already.
  7. I would love to know Hendry's rationale behind some of his moves. Seriously.
  8. Yea, it was in the NY newspapers today. They broke off talks and Torrealba's agent is talking with other teams and the Mets are possibly putting together an offer for Lo Duca.
  9. I wish I was as optimistic as you. This is the epitome of a Jim Hendry move.
  10. He's capable of better. I don't expect anything great, but he could put up an OBP around .320-.340, especially if he gets away from PETCO and hits for average.
  11. That is A LOT to give up for Greene
  12. ](*,) Why don't they have a crying smiley? #-o
  13. If this happens, we should all go to Chicago and kick Hendry in the nuts.
  14. I seem to recall a few years ago Choi doing well in his winter league. I seem to recall a few years ago Choi doing well in the major leagues. I seem to recall a few years ago that one time at band camp.
  15. I'm starting to think that Hendry doesn't know how to read stats. He just goes by who's better known. Hence, Kaz Matsui over Theriot and Cedeno.
  16. yeah, all japanese people are friends with each other aren't they? Jim Hendry thinks so
  17. I don't really expect Matsui to be a regular starter. He doesn't have a place to play. 2B. DeRosa will be utility. Are you ready for a Matsui/ Theriot DP combo?
  18. sadly there are a few who are worse Wayne Krivsky and Ned Coletti say hello.
  19. I would angry at this if I didn't already expect it.
