Probably, with Bourn gone. He's not really a corner outfielder anyway. An outfield of Burrell, Jenkins, and Victorino isn't terrible.

Yeah, this may hurt in the long run, but if we win it all, I'll live with it. -
They are talking about middle infield on Sports Central. Kaplan is saying that the Cubs have already told Theriot that he is their guy at SS on opening day. I don't think DeRosa is going to play SS. I could live with it, given the rest of the lineup. But Theriot is never gonna be more than an average-below average starting shortstop.

You guys could have had a nice pen of former Cubs. Hawkins, Mahay, Farnsworth.

I would think that DeRosa could play shortstop if Theriot could. IIRC, Theriot was a second baseman originally.

I guess we'd be giving up Pie for Blanton... Who the heck plays CF then? Looks like Figgins. Failing him, I would make it a platoon, getting a FA like Brady Clark to platoon with Fuld. I believe i just vomited Yeah, Brady Clark doesn't seem like a very appealing idea.
