  1. Democrat, but I'm not radically liberal. I may side with Republicans if i feel they have a good arguement, but that doesn't happen often.
  2. I guess they have no plans to ever sign someone who isn't a comeback project.
  3. How depleted is the Houston rotation?
  4. Shame to be Ed DeChellis. Barring some miracle, he watched his chances of not being fired go down with Claxton.
  5. OH insiders just verified this rumor and confirmed it with at least two sources. Sounds like its a done deal. I hope you are joking. They've "confirmed it with their sources" about 100 times since this rumor began back in 1959. It's impossible to tell what is a joke and what's not in this thread at this point. Bigbird from OH said it's not true. So wait if they say its not true that must mean its true right? No (and no means yes)
  6. Yeah, if they gave him any real money, he's not competing for anything. He's got the spot. Hopefully they trade Marquis and/or Dempster. Yeah, I like this idea.
  7. I like Lieber. And he's probably still better than Dempster and MArquis.
  8. Nathan's good, but with Wood, Marmol, Howry, and possibly Dempster, I don't see a big need for him.
  9. The Easter Bunny told me that he saw Brian Roberts in a Starbucks not in Baltimore and he wasn't wearing his Orioles uniform. He's a very reliable source. I think this is a done deal
  10. Not so soon - Link Ha, nice.
  11. It's official. A's receive Devine and minor leaguer Jamie Richmond.
  12. Who gets the better of the deal here is reliant on the health of both players. If they can both stay healthy and put up similar numbers, it's an even trade. However, both will probably be hurt and when healthy Rolen is a better fielder than Glaus.
