    no he doesn't Okay, if you say so, I guess you must be right. There's no way in hell you, or probably even most ML scouts/executives, can make that statement with any certainty whatsoever. Have you ever had a wrong opinion? I can't make the statement I made with certainty yet you can make the statement you made with certainty? Yes, I've had many incorrect first impression opinions about players. Not as many after 7 years of unimpressive nothingness.

    I can't think the sport is boring and repetitive without it being a macho thing? I'm just not sure what the difference between figure skating and any other winter olympic individual sport is, I'm not sure how you can say this stuff with a straight face.

    No, basically my point is. No team with good players would give them legitimate chances to be everyday or probably even platoon players. Which I believe would prevent people from thinking they are the 10th and 15th best prospect in a good minor league system. They both would be written off as 4A players in an organization with a good ML team. Those are not top 15 type talents. I'd imagine either one would be claimed by most teams if DFAd tomorrow I don't get what that has to do with it. Considering the garbage that gets picked up by every team from time to time that isn't a statement about their value as prospects.

    That's what I always questioned. I can't believe that anyone seriously thought the city or state was going to help when both of them are broke and have been for quite awhile. You can't believe that a government agency, even if they're broke, would kick in money to a project that would cost them something up front but they stand to benefit from in the millions on an annual basis from? You're right, that's totally crazy talk. Especially when seemingly every major sports facility in the history of ever has gotten some degree of public funding. Seemingly being the operative word. Very few of which were approved during the biggest financial crisis since the great depression.

    I'm assuming it wasn't after you closed fist punched her in the face (allegedly)? No, it was after 6 months of no sleep due to a newborn, a bottle of champage and 2 bottles of red wine (the 2nd one barely getting touched and in my hand on the way back upstairs). Great dinner though.

    Oh come on. The one person with something to gain by this story is Ricketts, who can pretend he didn't want to cut down on payroll but did so unwillingly as a part of the sale agreement.

I preferred the part when that one thought he score was unfairly low and then when other people were surprised at the other one's higher than expected score. Plus the original music.

    I don't pretend to have a realistic ranking of schlubs this far down the chart. But I have not yet voted for him.

    Well, I was joking. I am sure he will make a fine A ball coach one day. Wait is this a joke again? Can't tell. And are you joking about not wanting him in the organization but you're also joking about his value in being as a A ball coach or are you joking about his value in our system but you actually see his valid as a player and you're making another joke about his actual value being as a A ball coach? I just can't keep up with your joke of a post. I am serious about how ridiculous your claims were about Vitters and his clean slate and what any other team would have done about him. I am fairly dismissive of his value as a prospect anymore (actually never liked him but that is besides the point), but just joking about wanting him released. I do, however, want the Cubs to be good at some point. And since that will take several years then I guess I could go back and say I am also serious about anxiously awaiting the time when he is out of the organization, because he will be gone by the time they are good. Although that will simply be a coincidence of timing.

    If you want to, go ahead, but giving a 23 year old prospect a fresh slate due to a position change forced by his inability to field his own position, is ridiculous. You can't treat him like some 18 year old coming out of high school. The comment about "any other organization" keeping him at third is nearly as ridiculous. The likelihood that some other team would have done so tells us nothing. The Cubs are not some unique developmental organization. Lots of teams are doing smart things with prospects these days, including moving guys who can't play third base off of third base.
