And you know nothing but trouble comes about when you let the balls think for you.

woo, 4 pitch walk all he needs is an intentional walk and a bases loaded walk to achieve another golden marmol

He also actually has the highest LD% on the team. He was quietly doing pretty well up until the Philly series. Yeah, I hadn't really been looking at many stats and in my mind he had some pretty good numbers. But watching on gameday today I was surprised by how bad it looks.

Yep. Uh-oh, gameday's scout is talking about how much Dempster has left in the tank.

DeJesus has quietly put together a really ugly start.

No idea, but if there was a team struggling to stay in contention with a need at 1B and for SP and they were able to get a nice haul for Dempster/LaHair before the deadline, that would be the greatest move they've made to date. Mets, Braves, Dodgers all getting very little out of 1B right now.

9 pitch inning makes 7 full a possibility

gameday scout says: Homer Bailey has thrown 84 pitches but has plenty left in the tank with his fastball sitting at 93 over the last 10 pitches. Next pitch: Ian Stewart 2B to left center

so they had a very long players meeting on the mound, followed by one pitch and the pitching coach goes out, and just then start to warm up a reliever. Seems a little late.

Do you really think that in my wildest I thought we could get one of those guys for LaHair or that I think that you were suggesting that? Even B2B wouldnt give the matter any thought. If he does what he's doing for the next month, maybe we could get a pair from the back end of their top 10. So you don't think we could get one of those guys? Why did you say it then? Maybe he was joking.

the de facto stance should not be "it's illegal now justify why it should be legalized". The de facto should be it's legal, now justify why it should not be. There would be no good reason to make pot illegal today if it was legal. The opposite cannot be said.
