Why are both of our CF getting benched? Supposively Lou is considering taking Hill out of the rotation he says he's going to sit down and talk to Hill about his problems or whatever. Heard this from the guy on XM Homeplate. So I guess its ok for Marquis to suck but not Hill.

lol Tenn against Kershaw, I wonder how many K's he racks up. Harvey is probably good for 4. Kershaw is a monster. -
Why is it that in this league you need to juggle like 8 or 9 SP to get 10 starts per week. If you dont you get creamed. Most fantasy leagues have 5 SP slots you fill them then you leave them alone unless you have an injury or something. This league is just [expletive] with what you have to do to maintain starters. I thought we were going to adress this in the offseason but I guess nothing was done. It seriously saps all the fun out of things, I dont have time to juggle 9 starters and figure out when they are starting and who has 2 starts in a period and who doesnt. Why does it need to be this way seriously... Its not standard for most fantasy leagues. Im also pretty sure there were multiple games where people had more starts than they were suppose to in a period but no one caught them in the act because we have our hands full just trying to make sure we have our own starters in line. *sigh*

Why is everyone one waivers? I dont remember this being the case last year. Shouldnt only players that have been droped be on waivers? Now I have created a void in Starting Pitching with a trade and I cant add one via freeagency like I normaly would because eveyone is on waivers.

When does Daytona's season start and when will we get thier roster? Im on Vacation next week but Im guessing they wont have started by then. Im gonna get over there at some point this year to check them out. BTW I think its a bad sign that Vitters couldnt make the Peoria roster *sigh* early round highschool position draft picks never seem work out for the Cubs. "Give him time" is what they said about Luiz Montenez and Ryan Harvey for years, I just wish they'd pick guys out of college. -
What sucks is that there is no search feature. Like if I want to draft some prospect that is not ranked in the top 150 or whatever I cant look him up and just add him to my top 20 or whatever I have to wait till the draft and then search for him during the draft. Unless Im missing something I dont see a way to search then rank a player once you have brought up his profile.

As long as the draft is in the evening the day isnt really a factor.

Ive purged non-exempt players to get under the 1800 point limit. Just got rid of outfielders since they are a dime a dozen. Leaves me with holes at 1st, CF, RF and a couple relievers I should be able to find good value at those positions in the draft and I get to keep Arod.

.067/.094/.067 (30 AB) at Mesa .190/.261/.190 (21 AB) at Boise Of course he did badly last year, he was rushed into play after not playing for 3 months. His 51 AB mean little. How many months not playing will he spend between those at bats and his next? Im not sure what thats got to do with it. We have had so many high school position player flops that Im prepared for this one to turn out the same as the rest. It was only 51 at bats but still those are some aweful numbers for a guy thats as hyped as Vitters has been. Where do you think he will start the year? Think he'll see Daytona at all this year? Id love to get a chance to see him in person. -
I think this is dead-on. He's not a lefty, he's not a top of the order hitter, and he has a low batting average. Hendry won't be interested, even though he should be. Yes but in Hendry's mind shortstops are suppose to be poor to mediocre hitters with "moxy" "spunk" "grit" ect... I dont think we've had a good shortstop since Dunston. We talk every year about the glaring hole at SS when Hendry simple doesnt see it. He's happy with fielding crap at that possition for some reason. Hendry wants a defensive shortstop, the other terms you throw out are superfluous. Greene is outstanding defensively. Combine that with the fact that Hendry already tried to trade for Greene last season, and your reasoning quickly falls apart. Theriot is not that great of a defensive SS

I'll look again tonight. If I can't figure it out we'll have to get Tim involved to see how he did it last season when we had new people come in and take over teams. You gonna respond to the offer? Just wondering... Gotta figure out what my needs are first. Outfielders are a dime a dozen.

What were Vitters total numbers in pro ball last year? I know it was a small sample size but I remember day after day being completely saddened by 0 for 4s. I know he comes with alot of hype but didnt he completely stink in the time that he played as a pro last year? I guess I'll be alot more excited about him when he starts mashing rookie ball pitchers. -
Im ok with this move I guess. He's not making much, so he's disposable if he sucks they can stick him in the bulpen or trade him for a ptbnl... *shrug* I dont think its something to get worked up about.

*sigh* Guys I followed a link to our league site but I cant logg in. Because I have a new computer I lost all my loggin info for the site. On top of that my email adress was closed due to inactivity and so even if I knew what my account name was I cant have my password emailed to me. Im kinda at a loss as to what to do. Can somone look to see what my actual loggin was? I think Vinestal was taken when I went to start the team so I used something else but I cant remember what it was.
