    Why are you not enjoying this? I hate the people that call out those that are negative, because I am that way well over half the time, but your thoughts about this team seem to be particularly negative. Teams slump all the time. The Cubs have done it several times this year, only to bounce back and score 7-8 runs for a good stretch. I just hate it when we are losing, it chews up my insides. Believe me Ive enjoyed this season a great deal. I love this team, probably the best in my lifetime. I just hate it when they go long stretches without scoring. like less than 24 hours? seriously, ease up. *shrug* *sigh* I complain cause I care. Sorry if Im overdoing it. I hate to lose a game when we have pitched pretty well against a good hitting team, but it happens I guess.

    you're right, we should score 5.5 runs every game since we average that. i guess i can't blame you for not having a clue what a good baseball team looks like, though. When did I say we weren't good? I do recognize that we are the best team in the NL, but that wont stop me from complaining on a game to game basis. Its built into my soul.

    top offense in baseball, and people are still bitching. So meaningless when you cant beat Joe Blanton.

    Its a good thing our offense is so consistent otherwise we'd be losing this game.... Oh wait we are losing this game, hey at least we got a gift run last inning, maybe we'll get to the bulpen again today.

    We are the best offense because we score a ton of runs in blow outs. Im sure I can dig up plenty of games where we were shut down by mediocre to bad pitching. Im not saying we gotta win every game, Im in a craptastic mood and having a bad day, and I hate nail bitters and games where it seems like our offense is asleep for most of the game.

    have you watched the cubs at all this year? jesus Yeah, I know what our inconsistent offense can do. The only reason we were able to do anything last night is because we finally got to thier bulpen. We have been completely shut down by much worse pitchers than Blanton. We'll also be lucky if we get 5 innings out of Harden today.

    We're screwed we are getting bad Harden today, and we've already started leaving runnners in scoring position.

    Listening to Pirates radio today, they are saying that Boras has decided to rip up Pedro Alverez's contract saying it was agreed to after the deadline. Pirates are claiming thats incorrect and that his contract was actually into the mlb's offices before another contract who is also a Boras client. Sounds like an absolute fiasco. Basicly Boras wants to renegociate a new contract for more money.

    I hate any game that isn't on WGN. I hate games that ARE on WGN. It looks like poop No WGNHD? aww a damned shame... They look realy good on my 51 inch plasma. Then again when they arent on WGN or a national network its radio for me, so its a double edged sword. nope, no WGNHD outside of the Chicago viewing area. It's a crime, really Not true actually, I live in FL and I have it. DishNetwork carries WGNHD, but other than that they suck, and they have no access to extrainnings cause they are cheap greedy bastages that dont care about thier customers.

    *sigh* this lineup sucks. At least we are making Sanchez work, though Im not so sure if we'd have better luck against the bulpen.

    I dont know but he was in the dugout right before the game started in uniform.

    If those lineups are right we are not gonna score many runs tonight, I hope Marshall comes through.

    Actually I heard on the radio today that the Marlins have some of the top TV and radio ratings in all of baseball, so they have a good fan base, people just dont go to that park.
