  1. I don't even want to think about this game being a carbon copy of yesterday
  2. We're trying to keep steady with the Brewers in terms of pitcher abuse
  3. That was just an atrocious at bat by Fukudome Oh I miss April Kosuke so much...
  4. There were a lot of bad things that happened in this game, but by far the most disappointing thing was how poorly Gaudin pitched.
  5. I think it was a combination of bad luck with a great bounce to Harris and a great throw, and him not really rushing out of the box
  6. Willie Harris is officially a Cubs killer WOO
  7. I still don't feel like our chances are that bad but still 6 runs to the Nationals wow
  8. Welp good job Cotts and Marquis I really don't want to lose another series to this team
  9. YES WALK EVERYONE I WANT TO WALK PLAYERS ALL THE TIME THATS ALL I WANT TO DO
  10. Of all this, I have to say the walk to Cristian Guzman is the most offensive
  11. Why does it have to be so hard, Marquis? Against the worst team in the majors?
  12. 2 well struck balls that inning that fortunately went for outs Maybe my hope for Marquis isn't going to do much for us
  13. God damnit, Marquis was cruising and by gummit he looked like he has a bit of a swagger and now some lame ass contact and 2 base runners
  14. He's saving it for late September and October. I'm just happy that he seems to have some weird plate discipline come back to him from 2006
  15. Wouldn't that be poetic? Our worst pitcher (although he's really not that bad, but clearly the worst) pitches a no hitter for us in the middle of this magical season?
  16. Lee running had nothing to do with Ramirez striking out. What are you talking about? This may be true, but was the Theriot K on a hit and run? I didn't see what that was all about. Regardless I'm not a fan of running with our roster very much.
  17. ATTN: Lou, please stop it with this creative baserunning crap. It got two of our better hitters who rarely strike out to strike out and its just stupid and playing craps with a pitcher we should clobber regardless. Don't do it. Don't do it in the playoffs. Stop it.
  18. Except there are plenty of players that hit both righties and lefties well, and some players (Cedeno) that have reverse splits? Also most teams don't have the roster space to field enough players to do it. Its great in certain situations with exaggerated splits like Johnson and Edmonds, but the rest of our players mash lefties and righties equally. (Or at least our offense as a whole has anyway, this isn't the 2007 Cubs who flailed uselessly against lefties most of the year)
  19. I guess we can't ever get a sizable lead because the Brewers will continue to win God I hate them
