  1. another bad at bat by Lee, take strike one down the middle then HACK HACK HACK
  2. Ryan Braun and Nate McClouth Can I make fun of Ludwick for looking inbred? I really don't like that long necked donkey
  3. I wish this was a 1 o clock start, I'm going to miss a lot of the game because I'll be at work Luckily once the school year starts I'll just skip class rather than miss a Cubs game
  4. I just want everyone to take a look at Pie's numbers in AAA this year, keeping in my mind that for about a full month he was terrible when he got sent down. He put his head on straight and got his bat back. We need to give him another chance, I'm not up for resigning Edmonds although we probably will anyway.
  5. get some runs, get some outs lets all go home happy
  6. Marmol just get him out, its not that hard
  7. I love the guy, I really do, but he could never be my favorite Cubs because of the Jekyl and Hyde at bats he puts out there. Sometimes he looks just plain awful and its in the same games where he'll hit a huge walk off 3 run homer. There's not a player ever who doesn't at times look "just plain awful." Hmm oh yes he has the same ratio of good to bad plate appearances as Ramirez, Lee and Fukudome I forgot
  8. That's really odd since I wouldn't ever associate the two. Oh BR Ramirez never used to walk before this year, so its not that surprising to me.

  10. Aramis would need to go on a tear and hit like, 200 more home runs in his career which is tough since he's on the wrong side of 30 now. Derrek Lee actually could have had a shot after that huge 2005 if he didn't hurt his wrist, derail his career and lose all his power :(
  11. An outfield of Soriano, Dunn and Fukudome would be so bad defensively it might not even be worth it. Not that Fukudome wouldn't be probably an average CF, but our corner spots would be terrible and Fukudome wouldn't have the range to cover up for them. I don't see why we can't give Pie another chance, he was thrashing AAA for a while wasn't he?
  12. They both are just pretty good players so its less surprising that they are good when they face us There are other lamer players that own us
  13. I'm not gonna bitch and moan about it too much, but he should probably stop using Howry like ever I don't know how many times Howry has to blow a lead for this to be drilled into his head
  14. I was threatening to Tonya Harding Jason Marquis earlier, so I hope its not a big deal Honestly both of them could use the treatment
  15. Ugh at the bolded. Unbelievable how irresponsible Dusty was. It makes me sick he nearly ruined Kerry's career.
  16. they are? Why has the front office pushed and pulled Marshall around so much? Explain this to me, please, I'd love to understand it.
  17. This guy has had our number all season, I don't know what it is Thank God the Astros wont be in the playoffs, Moehler is for sure the last pitcher I want to see
  18. We are going to pay him 9+ Million dollars a year next year to blow and he will start if not injured, because our front office is more obsessed with us playing players who are getting paid then playing those who deserve to play
  19. This game sucks, the Astros suck All we gained from the delay was a 2 inning usage of Gaudin, wonderful. I hope the Astros rot in hell, they are seriously picking something up on us and it bothers me they have our number
  20. The world and ESPN conspires to make sure the Cubs lose oh and they can't do anything against Brad Moehler again, the guy would win the Cy Young if he got to face the Cubs every start, unbelievable, actually...very believable.
