It's because we had a fighter's chance in the series' against those teams. We never had a shot in this series. I wasn't even really upset that we were mauled today. The only reason why I don't want the Cavs to win the title is because I want LeBron to be so pissed off at the organization that he decides to bolt. Other than that, I wouldn't have a problem rooting for them at all. LeBron could really only be upset with himself. The Cavs had some glaring matchup problems with the Magic last year, and for the most part they went out and fixed them. They also added another very solid offensive option in Jamison. The Cavs have, by far, the most talented roster in the Eastern Conference. Although, Orlando still scares the hell out of me. They have the best inside-outside game in the NBA, and if they get some hot shooting for a few games in a row, there really isn't a whole lot that the Cavs can do about it. I think that if both teams make it to the ECF, Vince Carter will be the most important player in the series. An Orlando-Cleveland ECF rematch would be a really awesome series, and though it seems predestined, with the way the whole playoffs thing goes, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the teams doesn't make it there. For whatever its worth, the playoff simulator on espn predicts a 55-45 Cleveland favorite in such a scenario, so basically a toss up.
