    so someone who is more in the know on this, does this put us closer or further away from playoff in college football or is it completely meaningless this is most of what I care about also it'll be weird seeing Nebraska play Illinois in the regular season (we'll get [expletive] rocked)

    The MWC is now officially a stronger conference than the Big East and the ACC, they should get an automatic bid to the BCS I really like the Nebraska move to the Big Ten (though i would have also liked the assumed accompanying Mizzou move, always thought they'd fit in well) mostly because now we get to see them get curbstomped by whoever's in charge of the Big Ten every year, railed by Penn State, humiliated by Ohio State, even teams like Wisconsin and Michigan State will feast off of them. No more hiding in the Big 12 North. Too bad Illinois will still probably get embarrassed for another 10 years.

    If you weren't on this bandwagon when they signed Adam Dunn and then next year signed the corpse of Pudge Rodriguez and Jason Marquis, to go along with Ryan Zimmerman Well, then you're doing this whole "baseball" thing wrong

    having pretty bad luck with RISP and having extraordinary blackholes instead of 'regular' black holes a .500 OPS is really much much much worse than 650-700 OPS from a slumping Aramis if he could just advance his ability to "really bad" instead of "monumentally awful" we'd be much better Derrek Lee sucks, Theriot refuses to walk or hit for extra bases, Byrd doesn't walk and is slumping with Castro now I dunno I guess the devil is in the details here Soriano is having a good year. :)

    This is obviously a joke. It's amazing how bad he's been. Redick should start Game 5. JJ Redick should never start an NBA game for his entire career, he's less than one dimensional, he's like...half dimensional. Too bad for the Magic, I was pulling for them after my dog fell out of the race and they've really been both exposed and caught sleeping. Too little too late, too little too late. Would love to see them push it to 6 or 7 though, but showing how little mental fortitude they've had in the first 3 games of this series, I doubt that'll happen.

    If they can get some decent pitching out of Wang and 100ish innings out of Strasburg, plus whats the story on Marquis? Maybe the Nationals could stick around for a while because that offense isn't bad' If the Nationals finish with a better record than us I'll laugh and laugh and laugh and then cry Also I know their GM's son

    I spent about 20 minutes looking for the quote, can't find it, but it pretty much amounted to "I had to wait around in the minors for a few years, so I'm gonna make him wait" Which is super petty and he blows too, I love these quotes from Sabean about Posey: ""Triple-A baseball isn't very good," Sabean said. "I'm going to tell you that right now. Especially from a pitching standpoint. Anybody who can pitch is in the big leagues."

    The only way this season could get any worse is if we start playing well and are in it in September And we lose the divisional/wild card race by just a few games and we look at the schedule of April/May and see how we dropped series after series to the likes of the Nationals, Astros, and started 0-5 against the Pirates

    Bengie Molina is a dick, he has publicly stated that the only reason he's playing this year is to block Buster Posey which is infuriating to both Posey and to the Giants fanbase because he knows San Fransisco's management is too stupid to promote Posey and bench Molina anyway
