    This is obviously a joke. It's amazing how bad he's been. Redick should start Game 5. JJ Redick should never start an NBA game for his entire career, he's less than one dimensional, he's like...half dimensional. Too bad for the Magic, I was pulling for them after my dog fell out of the race and they've really been both exposed and caught sleeping. Too little too late, too little too late. Would love to see them push it to 6 or 7 though, but showing how little mental fortitude they've had in the first 3 games of this series, I doubt that'll happen.

    If they can get some decent pitching out of Wang and 100ish innings out of Strasburg, plus whats the story on Marquis?     I spent about 20 minutes looking for the quote, can't find it, but it pretty much amounted to "I had to wait around in the minors for a few years, so I'm gonna make him wait" Which is super petty and he blows too, I love these quotes from Sabean about Posey: ""Triple-A baseball isn't very good," Sabean said. "I'm going to tell you that right now. Especially from a pitching standpoint. Anybody who can pitch is in the big leagues."

    The only way this season could get any worse is if we start playing well and are in it in September And we lose the divisional/wild card race by just a few games and we look at the schedule of April/May and see how we dropped series after series to the likes of the Nationals, Astros, and started 0-5 against the Pirates

    Bengie Molina is a dick, he has publicly stated that the only reason he's playing this year is to block Buster Posey which is infuriating to both Posey and to the Giants fanbase because he knows San Fransisco's management is too stupid to promote Posey and bench Molina anyway

    All this 'pressure' stuff literally means nothing to a player that wants to win a championship. I hate these kind of hypothesizations, of course the worst place to go for the pressure of winning is New York. Look how much they flip out on the Yankees when they don't have a good week As it is, there is no other team with the cap space that is more talented and as young as the Bulls. We would be scary good with LeBron. Unfortunately I can't let myself entertain the idea for too long, I'm setting myself up for some harsh disappointment. Oh well.

    Cubs have had 10 base runners, the Marlins 4. The Cubs are down I feel like, and I wont check because I don't care to know what the factual leader is, that the Cubs lead the majors in "More baserunners but less runs than opponent"

    Mojo, and I know you're going to take this the wrong way, but especially in a game thread, you gotta let a lot of this frustration-posting slide. I feel like you can't let one off-the-cuff remark go by without correcting someone. They're game threads, its where people go to blow off steam.

    yankee tears are so sweet, the other board I frequent they were the only ones cheering for the perfecto to be broken up, hell the Rays fans were rooting for the perfecto I hope the A's can slip into the playoffs, even with their abysmal batting, they are awesome and when they are good it is Good For Baseball

    How is down by one run on the road against their best pitcher "embarrassing fashion"? I know its the Pirates but still. Paul Malholm is [expletive] terrible and we've been leaving runners everywhere. yeah i just turned it on but from the boxscore it looks like a typical letdown 2010 game for the Cubs, just make a run you morons, and they keep doing it against the worst teams too (Reds, Astros, Nationals, now the Pirates) its embarrassing, even if this team plays at a barely .500 level I'd prefer them just get swept by good teams and beat bad teams (thats not how baseball works obviously)

    impossible to say about the cubs, every day when i look at the boxscores and see we have like 15 baserunners and then 3 runs i just poop myself in anger
