NC State looked a lot better than they have the past couple of years when I've seen them. I think they're on the way up, for sure. As for ECU, after losing to James Madison last week, Va Tech is either going to have given up, or they're going to be pissed. Fair assessment, on all accounts. My main beef is that ECU is a 19.5 pt underdog (last I heard on Thursday) to VT. THEY LOST TO JIMMY FREAKING MADISON!!! I mean seriously. I get they may be pissed off....but 20 points! Come to think of it, anybody know of any legit gambling sites?

Only "Cincy looks bad" comments? No love for the Wolfpack? I guess I probably need to frequent the Rockies "Other Sports" forum to find some NCSU talk. In all honesty, NC State isn't that good, but I could see them challenging for the ACC title this year. The ACC is really that average across the board. Oh, and go Pirates tomorrow in Blacksburg! What the hell is a Hokie anyway?

Perhaps to showcase his versatility for trade purposes? Of course Lilly is lowering his trade value by the pitch.... If only wed traded him after the almost no hitter. Yeah, I was hoping the same thing because it was obvious even at that point this team was going nowhere. He's not an overpowering pitcher, so he's not going to be dominant every time out. I'm sure other teams realize that and still value that he has the value to, on occasion, completely take over a ballgame. -

nah, basic over-the-counter losing would be something like 3-4. the cubs got completely owned tonight.

I think I'm done unless they can get to .500. It seems like every time I watch they can never score another run (I know, it's a common occurrence...). But seriously, I was really pumped to get WGN America HD. The worst part of all of this is that the Cubs suck a lot harder in 1080. Only 3 more months till football season... :(

Yeah, if nothing else, can't they change that ruling after the fact? Cabrera doesn't really deserve an error, but he did seem to double-clutch just a bit. I'm sure he wouldn't care considering he in the ump's ear the whole next batter.
