  1. I don't think I've seen the Cubs score a run in almost a week. Every time I watch they have already scored a few (or one, or none) and never score again. So frustrating. Summer TV is going to suck this year.
  2. good God. Dotel, like all these scubs, seems to own NOBODY except the cubs
  3. *sigh* Not pretty at the end, but I'll take it. Cubs win!!!
  4. I'm a little late, but WOW  Theriot certainly doesn't throw Werth out there. I'm not even sure he stops that ball in the infield.
  5. why not double switch for Fukudome since Baker just hit and Moyer is leaving the game?

  7. Wait, I thought he was a long reliever now (in lieu of a return to the rotation, I had hoped)?
  8. great post. I definitely agree with your assessment as to his hand speed. The base hit he had tonight in the bottom of the eighth was about 6 inches off the ground and appeared to be a pretty good pitch. He just waited it out, reacted, flicked his wrists, and made solid contact anyway (a la Vlad Guerrero).
  9. Winning streak! \:D/ Lou is still an idiot.
  10. ugh, he squared that one up well, at least.
  11. It's been hit-or-miss all night for me. But it's been working well since the 8th, for me.
  12. In Seattleville they say that Milton Bradley's small heart grew THREE SIZES that day!
  13. Prediction: Cubs win next two, lose the third. I see the Cubs pounding them tonight. Cubs win 9-3.
  14. Off days are much more bearable coming off a 3-game winning streak.
  15. So basically, Rothschild is - and should be - highly regarded. I can recount numerous times being irate with this team, but never from an under performing pitcher. Larry may not be Dave Duncan, but he's one hell of a pitching coach, regardless.
  16. I haven't heard that in ages. I'm not sure that I've ever heard it, personally. Whom, may I ask, would such a comment pertain to (current or past)?
  17. The best no. 8 hitter in the majors, folks!
  18. Nice job by the camera man to cleverly disguise that cleavage shot with the baby.
  19. Well, sometimes it takes a walk to get you going again...
