I'm a little surprised that mlb.tv doesn't have the MLB network feed as an option to stream. would they take a national broadcast? i know gamecenter doesn't do that with versus/nhl network, they just black us out. never had mlb.tv though. I'm not sure. I just assumed they were affiliated and would have a vesting interest in having that feed available.

Marshall hasn't stood out? Based on these 3 games (sample size!) he should be the clear favorite to be the setup guy. Well, yeah. That's fine. I wouldn't have a problem with him as the high leverage guy used to put out any fires regardless of the inning either.

Yes! Marmol looked like he had pretty good control that AB. Just barely missed with the first two sliders. I think he may need to use that fastball a little earlier to set up the slider however. It seemed last year hitters were just taking them until he threw a strike.

Well, hopefully Grabow has sufficiently pissed off Lou to the point he will be used in his proper role of LOOGY - if at all. A set-up man by committee would be the best strategy for this pen, IMO. No guy stands out so why not pick whoever has been throwing the best lately?

Seriously. I hate the way this organization uses Marshall He's looked pretty lockdown in relief. I'd probably rather see him as a starter, but if he can be a very good setup man, he'd still provide a lot of value strengthening a potentially weak pen. That's fine - just not as a LOOGY.

Jesus, Lou, the bases are empty with 2 out! Why does Lou act like Marshall can't pitch to right handers when he used to start games? Ideally Lou would treat Marshall like Grabow and vice versa.

On a side note, it looks like MLB.tv is much more in-sync with television broadcasts this year. No more Fred ruining it for me with his ultra fast PBP \:D/

I need to remember these DP's when later in the year I feel only the Cubs hit into them during these type situations.

I guess the question was about arbitration and not pushing back FA by a year. To avoid being a super-two, it usually takes until June. Yeah I was, but both are good to know. Thanks.

Castro please. Not really, but Theriot is really looking bad right now. Out of curiosity, how long would Castro have to spend in the minors this year to not burn a year of arbitration?

I did off the bat, but then I perked up when I heard the inflection in Brenley's voice. Really? I knew that was gone the second he hit that. He freaking crushed it. I saw it out of the corner of my eye because I'm using half the screen to type on here and the other half to watch the game. The little Windows 7 "snap" feature from the commercial with that annoying guy.
