    I think it will be shown in the area. It looks like the most likely CBS game (since the Panthers are on Fox). None of the 4:00 games are on CBS, so it has to be a 1:00 game shown, and that looks like the one which would have the most local interest. The only other possibility I see would be Jacksonville at Indianapolis.I'm getting the ATL game here in Greenville. I'm assuming the Raleigh area will receive the game as well.

    That was especially neat. SEC refs too.... But, really, what a horrible game to watch. Both teams looked terribly sluggish (i.e. dropped passes, botched snaps, penalties, etc) Then again, the so called ESPN self-declared "offensive outburst" of Oregon and BSU is knotted up at zero at the end of one, too.

    wait, so rice backtracked in saying that a-rod and jeter don't wear baggy pants or dread locks, but failed to recognize the fact that neither were actually despicable aspects of today's baseball players? They didn't used to wear sunglasses in his day either, did they? Is that also a major problem with today's role models?

    Bobby Parnell is from my hometown of Salisbury, NC and went to HS with my wife. I'll still be hoping the Cubs destroy him, but another inept offensive attempt wouldn't sting as bad either.

    "Beefing up" indicates improvement. If you're a 110 lb. weakling who works out and becomes a 160 lb. average guy, you have beefed up. Adding another 20 pounds would be beefing up "even more". If you're going to take issue with semantics, do it right. let's see how many more people can take issue with the fact that i misinterpreted a post Or better yet we can wait for the troops to put words in your mouth.

    So you admit it's improved yet still complain to just to be contrary. Yep, got it.

    You must not pay attention to the farm system. This year it has taken a big step forward. i'm aware. i'm just saying that it's still not very good. So what? It's gone from a bottom of the barrell system to a pretty average system in a years time. This year's picks have looked promising as well. If they can improve next year then we all of a sudden have solid to above average farm system. Either way, the lone bright spot for this season is the play in the minors. Please don't suck the life out of that like you do with everything else on this board.

The Cubs were in first place, tied with the Cardinals wow just wow I've never hated a baseball player. I mean really hated a player until now...     This whole damn season just pisses me the hell off. From beginning to end, it has just sucked. In one fashion or another, it has sucked in some capacity.
