  1. Jacque Jones and some prospects to KC for DeJesus. I think KC had some interest in signing Jacque last off-season.
  2. Cubs are stacked in the bullpen. They don't need more bullpen arms. I would be very cautious dealing Marshall. Not too many 6'7 left-handers can throw with control. I love how he keeps himself cool and calm under pressure.
  3. Where do you get the idea that they will only come when he feels like taking them? I'm fine with him getting part-time duty. He'd be the best part-time duty player the Cubs have had in quite a while. Macias?
  4. Everything.
  5. You read my mind. Giles sounds like a good option. Hopefully Hendry gets involved in this. Its too bad Izzy will not be traded. :D
  6. Count me in for wanting Marquis on the Cubs.
  7. I love your wish list. JD Drew-GONE Vincente Padilla-GONE Kei Igawa-GONE Marcus Giles-WHO? lol Dave Roberts-GONE
  8. Baker never used the lineup shown above, not even once. The players with the most starts by lineup order were as follows....... 1. Pierre (159) 2. Walker (32), Theriot (29), Cedeno (26), Perez (20) 3. Ramirez (52), Walker (35), Barrett (34), Lee (33) 4. Ramirez (72), Nevin (21), Jones (19), Barrett (15), Murton (14) 5. Jones (57), Murton (28), Ramirez (23), Barrett (22) 6. Jones (38), Murton (28), Mabry (24), Barrett (18) 7. Murton (45), Cedeno (22), Jones (22), Blanco (20) 8. Cedeno (85), Blanco (30), Perez (21) 9. pitchers (153), Blanco (6), Hairston (2), Perez (1) I love ya Fred, but didn't Pierre start all 162 last year and lead them all off? Dusty put him 2nd in three games to try and jump-start him. Didn't work. Nothing worked out well for the Cubs this year.
  9. I love how he works quickly, but I hate his upper body mechanics.
  10. IBL http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/pictures/f/farooq/04.jpg DAMN
  11. And that is why he had the TJS.

  13. I don't think Hendry had interest in Bonds.
  14. I just threw up a little in my mouth. Why is that?
  15. He is probably my favorite GM in baseball. Always trying to improve his team, always making a big trade, I love his creativity, and I love the way he takes risks.
  16. Marquis has a very live arm. If the reports of him fixing his mechanical flaw are true, then I think he can return to his 04 form.
  17. Why would the Cubs do that??? It makes no sense to trade a SP when your team is desperate for them. weren't you implying that the Cubs would have to trade Hill and Pie to get Jennings? Yeah, which means it wont happen. Thats what the Rockies GM said he wanted in return for Jennings.
  18. Why would the Cubs do that??? It makes no sense to trade a SP when your team is desperate for them.
  19. Actually, I don't think that's a very optimistic blurb. We are: "previously mentioned" and "in connection" Oh I know, I'm just saying it appears that Jennings is still an option, after it sounded like he was off the trading block. Would you be willing to give up Rich Hill and Felix Pie for Jason Jennings? Or would you rather go out and sign a similiar pitcher in Marquis without giving up Hill and Pie?
  20. Ok, explain to me who else you would want that is available. lets see, i dunno maybe someone whos going win w/o the support of a great offense like the sox have...lets go out and get westbrook who is BETTER...maybe even penny...who is BETTER What makes you think the Indians would trade Westbrook? They have added bullpen arms.
