  1. Rotoworld I would be very upset if the Sox ended up with my favorite pitcher.

  3. Levine reports the Cubs are still pursuing Lilly and Schmidt.
  4. He is surely not the same pitcher he was a couple of years ago. Zambrano Hill Schmidt Lilly Miller/Prior
  5. Agreed. care to back this up? He has never pitched 200 innings in his career, he is a .500 pitcher at best, he has mechanics that need to be fixed before he has a serious arm injury, his attitude toward pitching has been questioned, flyball pitcher, and he pitches high in the zone.
  6. $15 million per year? That is crazy.
  7. I really hope Hendry doesn't go after Jennings, either. He is not very impressive. You could have probably had him for next to nothing last year.

  9. How many innings are they projecting for Lilly? He seems like a guy who will never reach the 200+IP to me.
  10. Z/Schmidt/Hill/Lilly/Miller-Prior That's a rotation I could be happy with. Now go get a SS and a CF Hendry. I don't like the idea of pitching your left-handed starters back to back. Specially considering Lilly and Hill have a similar style of pitching. Zambrano Schmidt Lilly Miller/Prior Hill That is how I would set the rotation. I'd be fine adjusting to that rotation after a while, but not to start off the season. In April and May when we get to skip the 5th starter on occassion I'd rather give Miller or Prior the time off than keep Hill off the mound. Agreed.
  11. Bruce Levine,"Cubs have stepped up their pursuit of Jason Schmidt."
  12. Aaron Rowand might be headed back to Chicago. Rowand and Floyd for Garica would be something Williams would probably bite on.

  14. ESPN1000 reported the Cubs made a 4/40 offer to Lilly. I don't see how Lilly would turn that offer down. Though, Toronto really wants Lilly back in their rotation.
  15. Is there some new news they reported on either pitcher? Or is just the same Lilly stuff we've been hearing for a few days? Bruce Levine reports the Cubs are making a run at Jason Schmidt. Where does he report this? It was on the 3:20 update
