    How the hell are we only 2 games out of first?

    I like the GAB. It's the only current park I've been to other than Wrigley, and it holds up about as well as can be expected considering that. The only thing I'd complain about is they have the giant scoreboard in left field, and no other visible scoreboard for those that sit in the lower left-field deck, as I did in the game I attended.

    They seem to keep recycling that title for the special that airs before the home opener every year.And we've never won. Maybe if they got rid of it, fortunes would turn? :-)

    Bulls up 10 at halftime in Toronto. Joakim Noah already has 10 and 10, with 6 assists as well. D-Rose has 12.

    Those people are idiots, but in fairness to them, if we had Sam Fuld in LF right now and an extra $17.5 million (difference between Soriano and Fuld) to spend on something else I'd have to think the Cubs would be a better team. yeah, but that just means we'd be better off if we somehow got out of soriano's contract, as the first thing we'd do with that money is get a real left fielder. Probably. It's an exercise in hypotheticals, I was just playing devil's advocate on that one.

    Doug Davis owns us. 2 runs or fewer off him is pretty much a lock. Maybe we can rally against their middle relief.

    Don't scapegoat the hitting coach when the offense is for the most part made up of pretty bad players. Other than our 2-5 hitters is any other hitter on the entire team that good? Thinking like that led to us getting rid of a perfectly good hitting coach last year and I'd really prefer not to chase off another one because he's saddled with crappy ballplayers.

    Nah, they probably could if they just went to them and said that they're simply not going to re-sign them. Benchings would probably help in that department too. It's a scummy move, though (except for Soriano, who just plain deserves it).

    Michael Wuertz would be BY FAR the best noncloser in our bullpen right now, but Lou ran him off like a witch in Monty Python years ago. Unreal.
