That's interesting. With the Chiefs picking, fun fact: Matt Cassel rating, 2009: 69.9 Brady Quinn rating, 2009: 67.2 I don't expect them to but Clausen wouldn't be the worst move here.

How in the world do you know that? Mel fricking Kiper was saying Clausen was a top ten pick just a few days ago and had him as the #4 talent in the draft. If Kiper doesn't foresee the #4 player falling out of R1, how is Weis going to know it? And, oh btw, if you thought there was any chance in hell that Clausen wasn't bolting as early as possible, you're crazy. We clearly haven't conversed enough if you think I was of the opinion that Clausen was ever going to stay his senior year, or that he should have.

I'm extremely weary of having the same ND arguments, as I've had about 30 in the last 16 hours, but it's pretty obvious that Weis's relationship with NFL people ain't what he thought it was. I didn't mean that he screwed anyone on purpose.

For the 2nd time in 4 years, Charlie Weis's supposed "NFL connections" that respected him so much ended up picking one of his quarterbacks about $20 million worth in guaranteed money worse than original projections indicated. I'd say that was a pretty big [expletive] over.

I really couldn't care less how LeBron behaves - if he wants to be a kid, be a kid. I'm all for it. I just hope he's ready for the consequence if he does things like dancing around on the sidelines during a game.

Schefter reporting that the Browns and Bills both looking to trade up to the 33rd pick today. My guess is the Browns would be after McCoy, who they are rumored to really like, and the Bills would be after Clausen.

No hes in Palm Springs or some place like that Apparently his grandpa passed away recently and he's with his grandma and other family there. I think he would've gone to NYC otherwise.

Well, I guess Clausen and Tate will both go early tomorrow. Maybe someday I'll root for someone who won't swan dive down the 1st round. So annoying.

Carolina would never take Clausen. They've never taken a QB before the 4th round with the current brain trust. And Ice is a Falcons fan, that's why he wouldn't want it, Snayke.

Next year's draft is weak at QB, isn't it? This is a golden chance for Minnesota.

Thank God the Jets didn't trade out. Now Minnesota can take Clausen and I can be happy again.

Michael Smith says the Browns may trade back into the 1st round with New York. If that means what I think it does...
