  1. Maybe for DLee? That would make some sense. Lee is scuffling lately.
  2. I was hearing about how good Rasmus supposedly was for years before he showed up, so I'll live with him.
  3. Don't blame Baker, he should never have been hitting there. C'mon Byrd, be the hero.
  4. Of course not. Let's bunt when ice-cold Derrek Lee is on deck. I freaking hate Lou.
  5. I sure hope Lou's ridiculous overmanaging at least carries over to a move that SHOULD be made - pinch hitting Fontenot if a righty is still on the mound when that spot comes up 3rd.
  6. On-base of .527 which leads the [expletive] majors, OPS of 1.064. I don't even care that the ump blew that call, Lou deserves it for being an idiot
  7. Moreland's alright, but he sounds frighteningly like Tim McCarver, to the degree that it actually scares me.
  8. Despite my smart-ass comments I'm much less heated towards Cleveland than I was towards Boston, or Miami, or Detroit when we lost to those teams in the playoffs. Maybe it's because it's Cleveland and the poor bastards never get to win anything. I'm still not sure the Cavs will win - we won the only game in which we shot even tolerably from 3, and Orlando shoots a hell of a lot better than tolerably - but I can't say I'll be rooting vehemently against them.
  9. No Andrew Luck in the top 10 is pretty crazy. He has a chance to be the top pick if he progresses this season. Didn't see a couple guys who I think are top-20 guys like CB Ras-I Dowling (Virginia) and RB Ryan Williams (Virginia Tech). The WR class is going to be incredibly sick - Green, Jones and Baldwin are all legit top 10 picks. And Floyd should be. If he really falls into the late 1st round as that site projects some team is going to get lucky. Although I grant that he has injury concerns that would make falling in the draft more likely for him.
  10. I found it odd/interesting that Tebow, Berry and Dez Bryant are as of this writing the only 3 draft pick jerseys available for pre-order in your choice of color. The others that are available are only available in one color. Not sure why those 3 were the first to the store.
  11. The thought of Utah, by seed, being favored to win the West after this round is pretty funny. Though honestly, if the bottom 4 seeds all won, I'd give the Thunder as good a shot as anybody.
  12. A Web site called nepatriotsdraft.com posted a mock draft today for 2011. Guess who held the No. 32 pick? For some reason they had Carolina at #5. I have a very hard time believing we could be that bad since our worst record under John Fox has been 7-9, and we've had teams significantly less talented than the one we have now.
  13. I wasn't aware when Tirico became a Cleveland broadcaster. He was acting like an idiot after that shot. By the way, the Cavs can really knock off their clowning. We're the worst team in the playoffs, and you're the best team. It shouldn't have taken 3.5 games for you to start doing this.
  14. Tyler Colvin, Geovany Soto, Kosuke Fukudome. Who is the Holy Trinity?
  15. LeBron committed 2 fouls that were ignored in the last 2 minutes. You can't tap Deng's hand while he's shooting, even if the shot clock is running down. I felt great about this game until the last 3 minutes.
  16. Pretty solid game all around so far. Good to see the Bulls able to do it without Rose dominating the game.
  17. I'll take credit for Theriot. Dropped him in a fantasy league this week after a cold streak and he promptly started destroying the ball. Picked him back up today.
  18. FUN FACT: Our #8 hitter's OPS, BEFORE that homer, was 1.110.
  19. TBS blackout here as I suspected, even though the TV guide doesn't corroborate it. Lame.
  20. The Broncos get an A, the Panthers get a C, and Rick Gosselin gets a WTF.
  21. Using both of my pre-ASG transactions now... Drop Reimold, add Rasmus Drop Sizemore, add McGehee
  22. Didn't Southpaw engineer the 7-game win streak in 2007 that turned our season around? If the Cubs win tomorrow it seems like he has a good shot of pulling another one with Washington in town next.
