I hope Rizzo meant the goat and not the villain, otherwise he might be embarking on an unprecedented career indeed. http://www.midnightreview.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/heath-ledger-joker-dark-knight.jpg
RF presumably sees less action than LF and unlike at Wrigley, it's not harder to play than LF, so I'm good with putting the better fielders in left and center. I'm guessing it doesn't have anything to do with actual defensive ability. It's to get LaHair comfortable when Rizzo comes up. I'm good with that too. Better if LaHair does some hitting here soon.

sports radio chatter today suggested that the ACC and Big East may be no more in a few years, as the 4 super-conferences take over everything They've been saying that for 2 years. Not that it's impossible (certainly seems more likely than it did then), but I'll still believe that kind of thing when I see it.
Can't they just make it a top-four playoff? It really sucks that the ACC and the Big East are going to get a conference-champ affiliated playoff just because they know damn well their conferences are awful.
I hate W/L for evaluating (my hatred of that stat originates all the way back to 2003 when I was feverishly angry every time Mark Prior didn't get a win he deserved and possibly cost him a Cy Young), but only one statistic here has somehow managed to change the way a baseball game is managed, so I voted saves.
I kind of agree with him that football replay's not the best, but that's at least partially because it seems like at least one out of three times they [expletive] up the call on replay anyway (especially in college).
Ward doesn't belong on this list. Yes he does. Ward was an absolute monster in 2007 (when I assume this happened). No he doesn't. All those other names are worse than Mather hitting 3rd excepting maybe Fontenot.
