  2. Underrated in the last 2 preseason polls, but whatever. Clunky game, largely played like ass, still beat a (likely bad, but still) Power 5 team on the road by 18. Nothing matters until the Georgia game.
  3. There's going to be more yammering about this Kelly jamoke on this board than about literally hundreds of productive players this season, isn't there?
  4. Well, I guess Oklahoma QBs are going to win the Heisman every year now
  5. It didn't fail at all, but intentionally losing 3 years for a competitive window that sure looks like it, charitably, lasted 4 years (I don't see any way these guys do much next year absent huge changes) wasn't quite the idea. At least 5 years. They suck but they are right in the playoff picture. Doesn’t mean it’s not an incredibly disappointing season but if you put the floor to be considered a successful season as making the playoffs they are being competitive in their competitive window. Any rebuild that leads to a championship is in my book successful. They bottomed out to build a championship team. Where we failed is in maintaining a contender. Any team that is successful for 5+ years needs to make good moves throughout to maintain the contender. So in my eye the rebuild was inarguably a complete success. It’s the post-rebuild moves that have been a failure. I miscounted and meant to include this year. Agreement on everything here.

  7. Don't bother putting up a fight either, you jackasses. I'm so glad it's football season now.
  8. Go celebrate your suddenly horsefeathering invincible 2019 pennant winners somewhere else and leave us in our misery, would you?
  9. Noted impact fielder Eric Thames
  10. I love that this horsefeathers who magically became good at hitting for a few years at like age 28 is all of a sudden good at it again. Rules don't apply to that horsefeathering franchise
  11. We're back to the days when all I had was to hope certain World Series matchups didn't happen, but since STL vs Houston looks like a mortal lock now that's gonna be a sad existence
  12. STL is scoring 3 more times in the 8th
  13. There's an infinity percent chance that stupid ass blooper by Gamel ends up in a run
  14. Gio is doing exactly that except he's throwing garbage to everybody.
  15. Even on the radio this horsefeathers is infuriating to watch.
  16. I'm kind of amazed that's not against the CBA. That's a brutal slog. After last year, my pity level is pretty close to zero.
  17. Crazy busy at work and haven't been able to watch. Is Nick Castellanos the NL MVP? I'm only like 60% joking.
  18. He can probably speak it but doesn’t feel confident enough on camera. Unless you just meant you were surprised he couldn’t speak English well. It just never occurred to me that he needed a translator for interviews. His name being Caratini, I always forget that he's Puerto Rican and not Italian, so I did know he wasn't a great English speaker, but for the wrong reason.
  19. Joe now saying Rizzo is unlikely to play tomorrow. Put him on the [expletive] injured list. Good God
  20. First hurricane casualty; Boise-FSU will now be in Tallahassee, not Jacksonville, and will start at noon, not 7.
  21. Rosario swinging at that 3-1 pitch seems to have snapped Kimbrel back closer to normal
  22. Molina's geriatric ass has 2 dongs because why the hell not
