    Pretty much the difference between these teams is that STL can crap out ace starters and relievers whenever needed and we have to desperately sign anyone in sight and pray to God they don't horsefeathering suck. That’s worked out so well for the Cardinals the last 5+ years I meant this year

    Damn west coast people. Still seems strange theres a Thursday night game on FOX. Guessing this is a special end of season thing they do. Last home night game of the year, lets get a W Think it's just a replacement for a Saturday game this week, because there isn't one of those on FOX.

    It appears that was probably the main reason. Screwing Russell over is a nice side effect, though. I'm sure Edith Cox is out somewhere bemoaning that that's thousands of dollars that could've gone to his children and saying the Cubs are in the wrong for this.
