I'm 21-7 - still solid, only one Sweet 16 team down thanks to Cal's lack of brain cells. In the last four, it's UNC, UK, Kansas, and Texas (although I'm rooting for Penn because I lost their 2nd round matchup anyway).

This looks really good for me if UConn comes back. I'd be 4-0 in this pod. Edit: I need Cal to come back too or I'll be down a Sweet 16 team.

I had Alabama as one of those teams that inexplicably was considered a lock, despite playing nobody in the non-conference season. They had 3 good home victories against Florida, LSU, and Tennessee, but just one decent road victory (Kentucky), and a bad home loss to Ole Miss, and finished 17-12 overall. Plus they looked horrible in their conference quarters against Kentucky. If we've learned nothing else, don't judge anyone by their conference tournament showing (BC, Cuse, Bama, Iowa...)

I think Alabama is just as good a team, probably better, than Marquette. The Tide got underseeded IMO and that game didn't surprise me at all, I picked it. Cuse was a disappointment (again). The moral for them is never win the Big East tournament again, it's poison.

To be fair, those were the 3 worst teams from the Big East that are finished. Good point. Barring upsets, the record will be 5-3 at the end of today.

I hope WV keeps shooting 3's like this because no one in the Atlanta region can handle that if it's on. Don't look now, but 12 minutes in and Oral Roberts only trails Memphis by 1.

It'll be an ND-Michigan grudge match on Monday night in Ann Arbor. UM has won the last two meetings by a total of five points, so the Irish have revenge on their mind, as well as possibly facing Creighton or Miami in the next round.

When did Joe Herber decide to embrace his German heritage and become JOHANNES? And WV's gray uni's are ugly as hell. Why not have yellow home uni's instead? Mountaineers back on track, lookin good so far :)

Just OSU among my 2nd-weekend teams playing right now. Bucknell, Sconsin and Iowa are my other picks, but I'll gladly take the hit of an Iowa loss in exchange for making WV's road easier and screwing up some brackets. And for those who were wondering what game is in the Midwest, the Indy affiliates were scheduled to show Davidson-OSU.

Davidson is looking pretty solid so far. Note: Seth Davis plugged Oral Roberts as the best 16 in tournament history.

Barrett is on my list along with DLee and Z as Cubs I just plain like. Really cool of him to try that out even though there's 0 chance of it happening.

What's wrong with that? The college bball thread is over 100 pages. :) Despite my 12-4 record and no Sweet 16 teams lost, I am 6th in the NSBB Facebook pool (damn underdog scoring) and one of 12 people tied for 10th in the NSBB Yahoo group. But the big day is tomorrow, because my 3 Big East Final 4 teams play, including West Virginia, all of whose games I'll be sweating through because, let's face it, these pools are going to be won by whoever gets the other three Final 4 right other than UConn. Strong performances, everyone, and best of luck on Day 2.
