It's too bad, I was hoping for Len to break the news that DLee had signed a new 3/37 deal with a 13M option for year 4 to open things up. Here comes Juan - let's PLAY BALL!
Half an hour! They should really cut off WGN News and let Len and Bob open things up early today. Another baseball season is here - another chance to end the drought!!! :D
In that video, Kerry throws the sickest slider I or anyone else has ever seen to one of the Stros' lefthanded batters. Just a thing of beauty. It's sad that both he and Prior could have been doing this non-stop for the last four years if there was such a thing as karma.
One of the saving graces of having Pierre in the lineup is that Dusty will never EVER be tempted to lead off with Neifi or Mabry as long as he's starting. Oddly enough, if we end up making the playoffs I have a strong feeling that we'll look back and note that Pierre was the key acquisition to make it happen. I can't wait to see Slap Nasty in action.
Not allowed. I agree. 2nd favorite teams are crap. You can enjoy watching a certain team play but you can't openly root for them unless it's the playoffs and your team is done. Well they are a distant 2nd. I'm going to the Cards\Sox game this year in Cardinal gear with a bunch of Sox fans. GO SOX!

You can; you'd just be behind those with active streaks alive. We'll all be back at 0 at some point, so it doesn't matter... YOU all might be...
I was sort of hoping that Murton would get a little higher up in the order...I would prefer that Dusty doesn't bat the rookies 7-8 all year unless they deserve it, and IMO Murton can bat 6th.
It only took one batter for the first bad call of the season to go the White Sox's way. Buehrle K'd Sizemore looking on a pitch that was clearly high and inside.
I have never had the chance to live in or near Chicago, but my grandfather gets the Chicago Tribune on occasion, and I really like their Cubs coverage.
