  1. I knew Miggy was going to hit that. Now if Turner does anything, I'll be floored.
  2. It baffles me because I believe that he could develop into something. He was drafted the same year as Owen Caissie. I would give the opportunities to the guy who could potentially play a role in years to come if everything else was essentially equal. We can disagree on whether that's the case.
  3. Does development or ceiling ever factor into these decisions? I know we're aiming at contention this year, but these guys are close enough in skill that it should be considered.
  4. Workman is the better defender, as well. He's 25 and has the potential to develop into something. These decisions baffle me.
  5. Don’t hate that Thielbar curveball. He seemed to be placing it where he wanted
  6. This IBB is extra insulting to Turner with Busch waiting. They must feel very good about a dp.
  7. Well, If Michael Busch is a 1.000 OPS kinda guy, then we're in for a hell of a ride.
  8. I'm sorry. I understand how unimportant lineup order is but I still hate Turner hitting 3rd. Would rather see any other RHH there.
  9. Wesneski with 0 BB and 10Ks in his start tonight.
  10. Why is the 40 yr old with the sub-.600 OPS hitting 3rd?
  11. This just had the feeling of one of these games. Can't add on, give up lead late, lose. Would be great to avoid that last part.
  12. Sure, but BB% is always going to go up as stuff diminishes. Necessarily playing at the edges of the zone because you a are throwing 92 instead of 96 is one factor.
  13. Yeah, hoping Ben Brown takes the next step here. He's got the ceiling they desperately need.
  14. I won't complain that Miggy isn't in there, because Kelly is the mayor right now, but Amaya hasn't missed a step moving into the regular season. Variance getting him a bit, but the PAs look good. I really think there's a 125 wRC bat there and would hate for him to lose too much momentum.
  15. Would love to see the bullpen lock this down with minimal trouble.
  16. No, not really. I'd like to see him in match-up situations in the 6th or 7th.
