  1. So he's at 36 after 3, that would make it a 108 pitch CG. I like it. Lee bomb!!!! Power returning?
  2. Can somebody do pbp since I'm locked out of my gameday audio subscription at work?
  3. does this link help? That gets me to the page but it just sits there with a blue screen once it takes me there. Most pages that are blocked have a websense warning but this just seems to die about halfway thru the page downloading.
  4. Anybody have any idea how to navigate around links on the mlb audio page not working. It has something to do with the firewall they have on my network at work. Page comes up, link is there, but won't do anything when I click on it.
  5. Posted this in Cubs Discussions as well..... http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/cubs/1121003,CST-SPT-gordo22.article Nice to at least see he's not being as hard headed as he's been portrayed and is trying to find ways to improve.

  7. Career OPS of .805 Year 1 - .600 in 2 AB's Year 2 - .738 in 234 AB This season he is OPSing .885 in 192 AB's so far. I gotta think he's a guy who if used properly (read: how he's been used this year) will consistently give you somewhere between what he did last year and what he's doing this year. A .775-.825 OPS bench/platoon guy is a pretty valuable piece to have considering how cheap he is right now. And man is he an improvement over the Gremlin and Neifi.
  8. Doesn't FA classification take into account the last 3 years of stats?
  9. In most cases I'd agree with you, but in gymnastics being smaller, lighter, and more flexible allows you to do more difficult routines a little easier than some of the older more muscular athletes can.
  10. Holy crap, Lance Berkman is 32? I had no idea he was that old.
  11. I too would like to see Shark in Iowa's rotation to start the year. I think you can slot Guzman into Shark's current role next year if he stays healthy and have just as nasty of a 1-2-3 as you do this year to finish games. Z-Harden-Lilly-Dempster-Marshall to start the year and you have flexibility to deal somebody if Hill figures it out and Shark continues to progress in Iowa. This of course assumes Demp is re-signed and Marquis is sent packing. Edit: And yeah, Marquis is making a little over $9M next year.
  12. Tackling was terrible in the 1st half and has continued to not be good in the 2nd. They just don't look like they're going full speed right now. Plus the holding calls that aren't being whistled don't help. I hope they get their crap together because the O isn't going to score this much on a regular basis.
  13. Fogg yanked already? What's his PC? And what is Z at as well?
  14. K'd Thanks. And apparently it didn't die. It just decided the Dero AB didn't happen. Weird.
  15. Yeah, I was just thinking he may need a DL stint to freshen up and be ready for the playoffs. Gives an extra spot of roster flexibility too.
  16. Can somebody post the link for Gameday audio for me. My computer won't open gameday or the audio for some reason. Thanks.
  17. Just heard he signed a minor league deal with the Red Sox.
  18. Yes, this. I'm a bit of a soccer fan and played for quite a while, so I enjoy watching if it's on but don't go out of my way to. I saw some of the men's soccer games and saw a little of a women's game a couple days later. I was amazed at how sloppy and disorganized it looked compared to the men's and even some of the previous women's matches I had watched in previous Olympics/World Cups. Plus, good lord are they slower than molasses.
  19. He's done. The way they were talking about it on the radio today it sounded like he's pretty much given up any hope of a return.
  20. Didn't he start out absolutely on fire too?
  21. How about 23-14? (We have 77 wins right now)
  22. I was thinking that was a low number and then I went and looked at the names. Gonzalez, Baldelli, Borchard, Utley, Bonser, Dumatrait, and Wainwright have all had big league contributions and most baseball fans paying attention would have heard of them. I think 7/30 making contributions isn't a bad ratio as much of a crapshoot as the ML draft is. Also nice to see I've never heard of the Cards 1st rounder from that year. Edit: How did Adrian Gonzalez (Marlins) and Chris Young (Pirates) both end up in Texas? And man, there was nobody in that draft after the 1st round. I think I counted 4-5 big leaguers in rounds 2 and 3.
