  1. That was a pretty good Ndamakong Suh impression he was doing last night. He was freaking everywhere. He's been a beast all year.
  2. Oh yeah, can't forget about those personal foul calls. IIRC, there were 2 on the same drive. And don't forget the additional probably half dozen or so obvious holds that didn't get called. Peppers was either on fire that night or the Packers OTs were just having the worst night of their lives.
  3. His face is starting to look like it's going to swallow itself. You should see his wife.
  4. It wasn't anything unusual. They hit that 3 to go up 19 and then took their foot off the gas. They do it all the time when they have a comfortable lead and then they stop being aggressive and trying to score and the other team makes a run.
  5. Oh, a clean screen Wait...what happened??? They called what?? Apparently since Tisdale doesn't weigh 47 pounds anymore, he's not allowed to touch anyone on the court, ever. And how the hell was that an intentional foul on Richmond earlier. Hightower is the worst ref about calling crap that really has no need to be called.
  6. Holy effing QFT!
  7. This is just about exactly how I see his performance from last night. He'll be game planned for and have some issues, especially against a team that is playing like it gives a damn. He did make some impressive plays last night, not just running, but escaping and making a solid delivery to receivers. His mechanic and footwork looked decent from what I saw and he wasn't terrible with his accuracy. He certainly has enough of an arm to make the necessary throws. He looked o whole lot better than he did against the Bears, but I would have expected at least some improvement with a full week of practice behind him.
  8. huh? I don't want to back into the playoffs because the Bears are going to lay down. I wanted them to be playing for something so we could earn that playoff spot. Then you're dumb. Better to be all but guaranteed a spot than have to hope for a victory to get in, only to possibly have to play the same team 2 weeks in a row, at their field the 2nd time.
  9. This is probably a terribly misleading statistic for the Bears in particular, just because their return game is so good and they routinely have a much shorter field to deal with. I wouldn't really expect most media types to think of that though, even with all the hype Devin has been getting. I know Joniak mentioned a couple times on the radio that the Bears lead the league in starting field position off kick offs.
  10. Well, the NCAA horrible and stupid, but I certainly don't blame these guys for taking advantage of the souvenirs and selling them. I do find it interesting that they aren't being suspended for the bowl game though. God forbid the NCAA get lower ratings because a game won't b as interesting. On a selfish note, I'm okay with it since I'm going to the Sugar Bowl and want to see a good game.
  11. You never know. You get a crew of competent refs and it might be an entirely different game. It was really bad both ways, but the charge against McCamey where Bowers got hurt, the call against Cole, and the block on Paul I think all at the end of the first half swung the momentum quite a bit.
  12. Actually no it's not, it just happened to be called that way this evening. Illinois is still the dumbest basketball team to ever play though.
  13. I just want emphasize how absolutely awful that call was, but agree that it wasn't even the worst call made tonight. Jesus Christ!
  14. Don't throw it to the wide open 7 foot tall guy, throw it to Mizzou instead you idiot. And it's be great if you could compound it by missing 2 free throws. DJ! And then more stupidity.
  15. This team is infuriating to watch when the game is close. It's really hard to figure out what stupid thing they're going to do to give the game away.
  16. This has been an awful game all around, I'm just not sure which of the play, the officiating, or the announcing has been the most atrocious.
  17. It's more like, if your aunt stopped dressing your cousin up as a girl and making him play with dolls he'd look more like a boy. That may be one of the best analogies I've ever seen. Although I think you switch out dome for an O-line that isn't awful.
  18. No, we just won't get a shot off in the last 5 minutes because we have a 7 point lead and go into stall mode.
  19. It really is amazing to watch all of those and see how much just a little hesitation or jab step in the right direction throws the coverage off just enough and sets up the blocks so he can get through. His vision on those play is just amazing too, there's a couple end zone shots where there's no room and he squeezes right through just as a hole opens up.
  20. I'm taking sedatives to relax that particular finger. By the way, the word is losing, not loosing in case you missed his point. :-" Boob Sanders tried to point that out, thank you. Still having trouble there I see. May need to up the dosage a bit!

  22. I think a lot of my concern came from the fact that I didn't think Cutler would make it through the season as bad as the line was expected to be. I'm fairly surprised they've come out as well as they have. The 2 early wins against the Packers and Cowboys were a bit surprising. Any and all concern was completely justified. This team could have fallen apart. But the ability to win a lot of games was always there and that is why I don't get people acting shocked that the Bears have 10 wins and already clinched. The only part of that I disagree with is the already clinched simply because both the Packers and Vikings were expected to have much better records than they do. The Vikings are just bad, but the Packers have clearly been killed by injuries and would probably have a couple more victories if not for all the guys they've had out.

  24. That throw can't be fully appreciated without seeing the end zone angle where it showed the ball going right between Henderson's ear hole and his hand. That ball literally couldn't have been more than an inch or 2 either way and still gotten to Davis. Just perfectly placed.
