  1. It's their 2nd or 3rd (I live 10 minutes from campus). They're full members of the OVC starting next year. But yeah, they're awful.
  2. I'm not sure why they don't just roll some giant heaters out onto the field to melt the snow and make the water flow into their drainage system. That would solve the problem of the turf being frozen (for now anyway) as well. This really could turn into a comedy of errors and make the people in charge of the decision look really, really dumb.
  3. He's been bad at salary dumps, but that's not really what this is. It's really more similar to the DeRosa situation where you can move the guy for the right deal, but you're certainly not backed into a corner by any means.
  4. I think we would've done better than 20-10 with him and think we can go 20-10 without him. Look at the next 30 games again. This was my thought. Aren't there like 8 games against teams that aren't terrible in the next 30?
  5. Every game Oakland has played since UI has made me feel better about the outcome of that game. And what would you expect from the shirtless groper?
  6. This. A 41-year old QB with a bum shoulder who can't run? Yes, please. Especially if it's outside at TCF. Yeah, I have a hard time believing he'll be in any shape to play with a purple hand/arm that's obviously not getting normal circulation and feeling. Plus, this is normally a 3-4 week injury and they're going to end up playing outside. Not a good recipe for him to be ready and able to play.
  7. Not that it's really a possibility, but exactly where in the hell in Milwaukee would they play?
  8. No I'm pretty sure it is. That gives us a 2 game lead with 2 to play and we win on the tiebreaker if it ends in a tie. It is true. I just wanted to throw everyone off since we answered that a couple of times earlier in the last few pages. Sorry I'm in a sarcastic kind of mood. Well thanks smartass!! Also, this is the 1st page of the thread, just in case you hadn't noticed. :ninja:
  9. No I'm pretty sure it is. That gives us a 2 game lead with 2 to play and we win on the tiebreaker if it ends in a tie.
  10. especially with boozer posting up. rose is going to get some open threes. that's what's been happening the past few games and rose has been knocking them down cleanly. I've actually been able to watch their last 2 games and it was almost comical how open he was on most of the threes he took. That shot he drilled from the corner was ridiculous. And TT is right, if he develops that consistent of a jumper, holy crap, how do you defend a guy that quick and strong?
  11. Part of the problem today is they went zone and that slowed the offense down a ton. It looked like the only guy who knew how to properly flash in the lane was Richmond. Everybody else, including the Mikes were just floating and not making decisive cuts so the guards could get them the ball.
  12. Awesome. He bobbles it and that throws off the coverage just enough for him to return it all the way. And we get bailed out by a penalty.
  13. Jay has officially had enough for today.
  14. It was a screen pass.
  15. Is That like reverse symmetry?
  16. Cutler in particular. We'll need him the rest of the way.
  17. Well, at least the Illinois game is on at 5:00 to distract me from this farce.
  18. So despite that replay that showed he wasn't completely on his foot they don't overturn it? Awesome.
  19. A guy's ass is wider than a guy's foot. Some part of it was on the ground when that ball came out.
  20. I'm feeling better about my prediction unfortunately. It's not going to be as high scoring as I thought due to weather, but this is going to be ugly I think.
  21. Yeah, sounds like they're leaning that way. They have all the essential personnel in place for the Packers/Lions game today, and sounds like they'll just keep them in place one more day for the game tomorrow night. My money is on the game being played in Detroit. I suppose that makes more sense since the Rams are in NO this week. Having all the equipment and personnel is something I hadn't thought about. There's going to be nobody there, regardless of where they decided to play it.
  22. Honestly, St. Louis really makes the most sense. And that would be kind of cool because I could probably go to the game and root for the Vikings (ewww). That helps the Bears the most right?
  23. Don't watch his 2007 highlight video. The very last image before fade to black is Ron embracing Kerry and kissing him on the cheek. That got me.
  24. Yeah, Rose with a jump shot should just scare the bejeezus out of the rest of the NBA.
  25. Pretty good article on the ceremonies and some Santo memories. I didn't get to hear any of it today, so if anybody has a link to any of it, I'd appreciate it. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101210/ap_on_sp_ba_ne/bbn_cubs_santo;_ylt=AsJHvNFoJznIFA1.Lz1lCX.s0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTFkdTR0cjZzBHBvcwMxODMEc2VjA2FjY29yZGlvbl9zcG9ydHMEc2xrA2ZyaWVuZHNmYW1pbA--
