It is good to see Ankiel starting to get that BA up some. I know it is early but 7 hr's and 21 rbi's in 21 games is a good sign. He has shown he has the power, he just needs to hit more often and strikeout less. -
A lot of that slg% is singles driven because he has a jesus christ like .485 babip. When that goes down, and it surely will, that slugging percentage will plummet unless he starts hitting the ball out of the park again. This is very simple guys, I don't know how you keep getting it wrong. Jesus's BABIP was never above 440. Well that's cause he couldnt hit a curveball. That's what I was waiting for. It is like the whos Mark Buerhle joke, somebody has to say it.

They just said in the Cards game that Torii Hunter was hit in the face with a fastball then collapsed on his way out to charge the mound. Hope he is ok. -
The rams traded their 5th round pick to the Chiefs for Dante Hall. I really like this trade cause they get an upgrade at KR without having to use their 1st round pick on Ginn. They also appear to be involved with Carolina in talks for Kris Jenkins. If they can get Jenkins with their 2nd round pick and then take Willis, Revis, or a D-lineman, I will be very happy with their offseason.

The Rams draft Wyoming S John Wendling. After going DL with the first 2 picks they need some help with the Secondary. Andy and the Panthers are on the clock.

I would also take Torii Hunter, so he is at best 3rd in his division.

Seriously, how uncool would it be if everytime Carpenter has a good start I come back and bump this thread? 30 or so bumps would be annoying, trolling and wouldn't contribute anything of value to the board. Much like your post which was... dumb. The last time I checked this was a Cubs board, not a cards board. Thanks for playing, troll. How is he trolling? He's just pointing out that he thought it was dumb to point out Carp's bad game last night, knowing that Carp isn't going to be that bad everynight. I'm pretty sure everyone would agree that Carp is an ace and he's not going to be nearly that bad this season. Yeah trolling would be laughing cause now Zambrano has a higher era then Carp.

I have to work all day tomorrow, so I will just make a list of 4 guys that rams will take in order, if one is taken before the Rams pick move onto the next one. 1-Amobe Okoye 2-Alan Branch 3-Patrick Willis 4- Hall, the CB from Michigan. Didnt want to slow this down anymore, I think Okoye will still be there when the rams pick and he is the guy I think they will take. But if he is gone move to Branch next, then on down the line.

He can make a really good punt/kick returner and change of pace back for some team willing to draft him. I think that he would be a perfect pick for the Rams if he is there on the 2nd day. They need a speed back to go with Jackson, and they need a KR as well. I hope is he there for them in the later rounds

I really want the Rams to draft this guy, but I dont think they will. They just brought in Chris Draft to fight with Chiller for the 3rd LB spot. They should have signed a DT and drafted Willis,but I dont see that happeneing I see them taking Okoye.

Not a shocker for me I picked UNLV to win this game. A win by them would be huge as noone else in my pool picked them to win.
