Yeah, Liverpool still has a lot of work to do. It would have helped them a lot to have Marseille win today but I think if they win both of their last two matches, they'll advance to the knockout stage. Not sure if they'll be able to do that, though. Yeah I think that they can win both games but it will be tough, luckily the Porto game is at Anfield. Hopefully yesterdays game will get them playing well, cause they have way to much talent to be sitting in 7th in the Premier league. I also think that having Kewell back off the bench will help out alot he looked pretty good coming in over the weekend.

Yeah Liverpool looked bad they were lucky they got out of there with a draw. They really only had one good scoring chance the whole game and they put it away. I am not sure what Pennant was doing the whole game it was like he wanted to get sent off the whole game he was just making dumb tackle after dumb tackle. But all in all Porto is the 2nd best team in their pool so to get a point out of this game on the road when they played so badly isnt that bad.

In Euro 2008 news today, England won against Russia to put them in 2nd in their group. Meanwhile Scotland won 1-0 at France to put themselves a top of their group, meaning that France and Italy could be fighting for the last qualifying spot.

Florida does look good but I dont think they will be able to beat LSU due to the lack of a good running back. I think tht LSU's defense it to fast to fall for all the trick runs they do with their QB's and WR's. At some point you have to juse be able to put the ball in the hands of a good running back to get you tough yards and i just dont know if they have the ability to do that against a great defense like LSU.

Best team in the nation without a doubt right now. Or, Va Tech was incredibly overrated (possible after their poor showing against ECU last week). The SEC East teams are basically playing for the right to be the second best team in the SEC this year. I highly doubt any of them can beat LSU in the championship game. I just hope LSU doesn't have a let down and lose a game they should win. Their defense will keep them in most games. The front seven is likely the best in the nation. Yeah their defense is really really good. I thought coming into the season it would be them vs Wisc in the championship. Now I think that it will be LSU vs Oklahoma. I just dont see any team in the Big12 stopping Oklahoma either.

I know that there are a lot of big ten defenders on here but I really dont see how anyone can say that the Big Ten is any better then the 4th best conference right now. I think Wisconsin is better then they showed today, but still not as good as USC, Oklahoma, or LSU. I think that West Virginia is just as good as Wisc as well. Ohio St and Penn State are the next two best teams and I dont think that either of them are as good as Cal or UCLA or maybe even Oregon in the PAC-10. Ohio ST might be as good as Louisville or Rutgers but Penn St is not. So overall the depth in the Big Ten is not as good as the top 3 conferences.
