They are going to have to actually spend money this year. They should bring in David Villa to replace him. That would help, I thought I just read that reports were he was going to be staying. Hopefully this means they start spending some money this year. Wenger said he had 70 million to spend and that was before the recent sales. You could stock up with 140 million pounds. If Real buys Ronaldo, Arsenal should buy Robinho. Get a general in the midfield and buy some depth. If Arsenal cant get Robinho or Villa, I would think that Hunteelar would be a good option as well.

I have this wet dream that Liverpool sign Villa and pair him up front with Torres. I know that it wont happen but with him and Barry I think Liverpool would be able to compete with ManU and Chelsea.

On goal.com they have a report saying that Adebayor has agreed to a deal with AC Milan. Arsenal will have lost him, Flemini and maybe Hleb already. That is a lot to lose.

Austria has really taken it to Croatia in the 2nd half, they just cant get a goal.

I'm typically negative towards the Cards drafting, but I don't see them spending 2.5 mil on a sandwich pick nor do I see them drafting a pitcher that high espec. at that price. Yeah I am not that confident they would pick them either, but I am just hoping that since they are local guys maybe it would put some pressure on them to dish out a little cash.

I dont really watch much Serie A so this question if for those of you that do. Liverpool is close to signing full-back Dossena from Udinese. Does anybody know anything about him and how good he is.

Didnt see it posted, but Mourinho is in as Inter's head coach. That could be big for Chelsea, I wonder if Essien and Lampard are going to follow him.

It really sucks that Babel is out, I was really looking forward to watching him play. Also there is a rumor that Liverpool offered 20 million to Bayern for Ribery. I would assume that the offer got laughed at, but god would I lover to have Ribery along side Gerrard and Mascherano in the midfield.

Wainwright deserves to be on there, but the bullpen has blown some wins but he should have 7 or 8 wins to go along with his sub-3.00 era. -
Man I cannot stand Chelsea, but seeing Terry's face even makes me feel bad for him right now, cause he is such a great player.

Chelsea has apparently made a 50 million euro bid for Fernando Torres.

It looks like Fulham may get a spot in the UEFA Cup as well. England gets an extra team due to fair play, and Man City had a man sent off yesterday which means Fulham might get that spot. It would be good to see Dempsey and Boca get to play in some European competitions.

It looks like Arsenal is set to pay 16 million for Ben Arfa. This is a very good signing especially if they lose Hleb and Fleminin which there have been rumors of. They are going to need more midfielders and Ben Arfa is a good winger.

There are rumors that Real Madrid is set to buy Xavi Alonso from Liverpool for 19 million. I like Alonso, but if they can get 19 for him they have to take it, as they can buy Barry to replace him and still have 6 or 7 million to spend on a winger or back. Then they can sell off Crouch and a few others and find another winger or striker.

I really dont see a need for Barry unless Alonso is on his way out. They need a winger, a side back, and maybe another top line striker, all though I would just move Babel up to pair with Torres. But if Alonso goes back to Spain which there is some talk of, I wouldn't mind a midfield of Barry,Gerrard,Mascherano, and a new winger. Then you could have Lucas Leiva, Pennant, and Kuyt come off the bench.

Yeah I'm not happy. Hittsfeld is losing the locker room on his way out and the players aren't getting excited for a UEFA Cup. Whatever. Yeah but they pretty much already have the Bundesliga wrapped up, so you will get some champions league football next year. Also it is what you get cause i am still upset about the game yesterday

Bayern getting killed in the second leg of the semifinals, they are down 4-0 at half to Zenit St Petersburg.

I really wanted the Rams to take a WR in the 2nd round, but Donnie Avery. I know he is really fast, but I think they made a mistake not taking Sweed or Thomas. Oh well I think they can make it up some if they take Dan Connor, Anthony Collins, or Abibi in the 3rd round.

The rams need some depth at the LB position, so with the 2nd pick of the third round they select Henderson from Maryland. -
Listen I wouldnt put my money on Liverpool right now, but it is not impossible that they could go in the Stamford and get a 1-1 draw. Once it gets to extra time or shootout anything can happen. Like i said it will be very tough, and the odds are in Chelsea's favor, but it is not over by any means.

Pretty disappointing result thanks to Riise, but it is definitely not over yet. It will be very tough for Liverpool but they are capable of beating them at Stamford Bridge. On a positive note, I thought that Skrtel was unbelievable tonight, and has been great since he come over.
