The start to this season is starting to remind me of 2004. The Cubs had just mad the playoffs the year before and everyone was picking them and Houston to win the division and wild card, then the Cards came out of nowhere to win the division. I dont think it is going to happen, cause this cards team does not have half the talent that team had. But the start is reminding me of that season.

Good to see you're still a trolling jackass. I'm not really sure how that is being a troll, but whatever floats your boat. Outside of being 100% false...the intent of a post like that (on a Cubs board) is just to inflame people. I really dont think he was trying to inflame, just because Cubs fans do not like it, i think that what he said would be what most fans of other teams think about Wrigley. I have been there a few times and know that is not all that is there, but it is the reputation of the stadium and the fan base.

reggiemiller rules picked Glen Dorsey at No. 2 for the Rams. he seemed to be saying that he was picking glen dorsey because he thought chris long was off the board. maybe if he's around he could let us know who he wanted if jake long was picked #1. Yeah I think the Rams will take Chris Long if he is there, so if the first pick got changed to Jake Long the Rams will take Chris Long -

With the Rams choice of Chris Long gone, the Rams select Glenn Dorsey number 2 I am going to be out of town this weekend, so if my next pick comes up someone is free to take it. -
You guys have clearly missed that Kyle Lohse has not given up a run this season, so he is clearly the early favorite.

Pretty happy that Liverpool got out of Emirates with a draw and an away goal. I hope that Rafa gives Torres a rest this weekend he looked tired today and could use a game off before the 2nd leg.

Van der Sarr with a great save, Roma could easily have 2 or 3 goals here in the 2nd half they are dominating play.

Barring an injury to Soccer Jesus, Man U is winning the EPL at least 5 points clear. And I'd put money on Everton being the 4th CL team. Evertons chances of getting 4th took a huge hit today losing 1-0 to Liverpool. They are now 5 points behind them for 4th Yeah, I posted that before I knew of Cahill's injury. I think they might be one difference maker short, as yesterday showed. Liverpool still have games away at Chelsea and Arsenal, right? BTW, Timmah Howard made a terrible effort on Torres' goal. Yeah they do still play at Chelsea and Arsenal, but the Arsenal game is right in the middle of the 2 Champions League games. So who knows what kind of lineups either side is going to send out, if Wegner feels the PL is out of reach he may rest some players. I believe that Everton also has to go to Emirates as well.

I was really hoping that Liverpool could avoid an English club this round, and if they did have to get one it would be Chelsea.

Gerrard will already miss the 1st leg of the QF. He was booked in the 47th minute. I thought that it reset after group play. If so that was his only one during the knockout stage so he should still be able to play.

I would take Gerrard off now if I was Benitez, the last thing they need is Gerrard to get another yellow and miss the next game.

I am happy with 0-0 at the half. Inter has had more chances, but that is to be expected. But Inter has also looked somewhat shaky at the back so hopefully Torres or Babel can get behind them with their pace and get a counterattack goal.

I read from another forum that rules state that the same stadium cannot be used on consecutive days. Since AC Milan's game at the San Siro was Tuesday, Inter couldn't use it today. Liverpool played their make-up game with West Ham instead, and Gerrard negated most of Torres points for my fantasy team. :mad: Torres now has 6 goals in the last 2 games, 12 in the last 11, and 24 in 33 games overall in a Liverpool jersey. Liverpool is now in 4th ahead of Everton. There is also a lot of talk about DIC buying out Gillette and Hicks. They have supposedly made a 350 million dollar offer that G&H are going to decide on.

Liverpool up 1-0 over West Ham in league play. A win by them puts them back into 4th over Everton.

Not sure why you're counting the loss at Vandy against them. Losses at Houston, and against UAB are easily worse than that. Vandy's a tourney team. Yeah but losing by 40 to Vandy hurts them.

Between Adebayor's miss on the header in the first game and the chances they have missed in this game, they could easily have this wrapped up. But they have played very well tonight being without Eduardo and Van Persie.

Wow Arsenal just got screwed, Hleb taken down right at the box, but instead of a free kick. Hleb got carded for diving. Now Fabergas just hit the crossbar.
