Champions League starts this afternoon. I put a 4-team parlay down on Inter, Barca, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Pool is the only one I am worried about as Marseille beat them last year at Anfield.

Man Missouri's offense is scary good, They are up 14-0 after 3 minutes.

This shouldn't be a revelation, but without C.Ronaldo, United aren't really that special. Yeah but Liverpool was without Torres, and Gerrard only got on for 20 minutes. This is the first game all year that Liverpool has actually played well and outclassed their opponents. Also Vidic got sent off meaning that he will miss their next game against Chelsea. If they lose that game they could be 9 points off Liverpool and Chelsea's total after 5 weeks.

Man i knew the Rams would be bad this year, but I did not think this bad. The only positive is if they keep getting blown out they will have no choice but to fire Linehan by week 4.

The MVP should be Pujols but I assume that he will lose out on it to some undeserving Phillies player. Isnt it Utley's turn this time.

I thought that if it was a 1-15 pick the team losing the A would get the team that signs 2nd round pick. But i am not an expert on the whole thing. -

That Lohse deal keeps looking better for the Cards. He has pitched decent for them this year and could get them 2 draft picks as he is a type A player. -
Looks like DIC didnt want to be out done in the middle east. IT looks like they have put in another 500 million bid for Liverpool.

City's new owners have come out and said that they are going to make a huge bid for Ronaldo, as well as Torres and Fabergas.

Things got crazy today in the Premier League. Man City was bought by Abu Dabhi group and put in huge bids for Berbatov, Robinho, and David Villa. They are supposedly going to have a huge list in January of players they want to buy.

Liverpool did get a favorable 2 seed, but they also got Atletico which is a good team. I really like that last group though Zenit is going to give Real and Juventus a good fight for that 2nd spot.

Yeah liverpool has played like crap so far this season, and it should get worse over the next 2 weeks cause Gerrard needs surgery on his groin and will be out 10-15 days. They are getting Mascherano and Lucas back so that should help some. But I dont know how they pulled out this or the Sunderland game.

The Cards offense has been on fire this month, alot of that has been due to Pujols being on fire. So hopefully they can keep it up against Sheets tonight.

Gerrard saves Liverpool again, after Carragher knocked one in off a defender in the 84th minute to tie it. Gerrard scores in extra time to win the game. They have played like crap the first 2 games but still have 6 points. Hopefully getting Machscherano back will help them out some.

Well there is reports that they are going after Villa, so they could replace one of them with him which would be a good move.

It looks like Robbie Keane to Liverpool is almost done according to English papers. Great move, I think him and Torres up front will be a great pairing. Also ManU is set to make Tevez the highest buy ever in the EPL at 32 million.

I think this is a good deal for both teams. The Cubs got a front line starter, but he does have serious injury risk. The A's got a good young pitcher, 2 useful bats with mlb playing time, and a C who OPS'd over 1.000 last year.

I know that Ankiel does not deserve to win the vote over Burrell or Carlos Lee, but he deserved to be on the vote over Rowand.

Maybe it is because I am rooting for Spain, but this ref has been terrible so far. Also Andy Gray is awesome and you can tell his hatred for the Italians and that is awesome.
