  1. I agree that they wouldn't trade up for him. Could Quinn slip to the 2nd round? Wow. We could really use a great TE, I know Jerry doesn't like taking TEs this high. I'd take Olsen if he was there. I dont see how Olsen gets past Carolina, everyone thought they were gonna take him at 14 so at 25 it would seem unlikely that they wouldnt take him.
  2. Man if Carolina can trade down to 25 and still get Olsen that will be a great 1st round for them.
  3. Dallas, Jacksonville and Baltimore are the biggest threats to take him before then I think. I wouldn't consider Dallas a serious threat for taking Quinn, I think if anything they're bluffing and trying to get someone to trade up with them. Jerry Jones likes him some big names though, so I'm leaving that as a possibility. He does, but so far he has been really committed to Tony Romo being the QB of the future. From his comments leading up to the draft, I get the feeling we're looking at a CB. I agree that we were probably going CB or WR going into the draft, but they also didn't forsee Quinn falling. Jerry likes Romo, but Quinn would be a nice insurance policy. At 22, he wouldn't be too expensive of a gamble. I'm getting word of a rumor that if Quinn is there at 22, either Dallas will take him or is trying to trade him to Cleveland for their second round pick this year and either a 1st or 2nd round pick next year. I'm hearing about the trade possibility as well, and I would do it. From what I'm hearing it might be Cleveland's 2nd and 3rd this year and an additional pick next year. I would do my 2nd this year and next if I was Cleveland. If you can leave the first round with Thomas and Quinn that is a good draft.
  4. Man there is quite a few people on the Rams Talk board how are not happy with the Carriker pick. I really like the pick for them, the only other player who was available at their pick that I would have liked is Revis.
  5. Like I said earlier, if Cincy can get Hall at 18 that is a steal.
  6. It doesnt seem as if the difference between Moss and Spencer is enough to give up a 3rd round pick to me but Denver must really like moss.
  7. I think they would take Spencer or Branch here before Moss. Well it looks like I dont know what I am talking about.
  8. I think they would take Spencer or Branch here before Moss.
  9. This could be a spot where if Cle is serious about getting up into the 1st round to get Quinn it would make sense.
  10. If Cincy can get Hall at 18 that would be quite a steal for them.
  11. I prefer Revis, cover-2 teams definitely would. I would pick Revis as well, Hall made more big plays this year but that is mostly due to the face that teams stayed away from Revis. Hall also got burned by alot of the better recievers he faced last year.
  12. I really like the Rams pick, Carriker is not the sexiest name but I think that he will be a very solid D-lineman for years to come.
  13. For some reason I have this really bad feeling that the rams are gonna take Quinn if he is there at 13.
  14. Wow what a terrible pick for the Dolphins.
  15. Man I really want Okoye to fall to the Rams at 13.
  16. I think that Minnesota will grab Peterson, so Houston would have to trade up to get him. That is what I meant, I meant trade up to 6 to get him i just typed it wrong.
  17. If I am Texas I trade down here and draft Petersen, but thats just me.
  18. I am quite happy with Thomas going to the Browns as a Rams fan. One it keeps him off of AZ and two it pushes Quinn and Peterson down meaning there will be better defensive players for the Rams to take.
  19. Well looks like Brady to Miami or Minnesota.
  20. I just got Soriano straight up for Eric Byrnes. I hope Soriano can start hitting some HR and stealing some bases. If so it will be a steal for me.
  21. It was basically a play on the Evers to Tinkers to Chance poem except talking about the Curse, black cat incident, the bartman thing, and other stuff bad mouthing the cubs.
  22. The fat guy was Bernie Miklasz a writer for the Post-Dispatch. Bernie did now write the article Derrick Goold did, but Tony wasnt answering any quesions from any of the PD writers. I understand where Tony is coming from, but Bernie didnt write the article and he is just at the press conference doing his job as well.
  23. I don't see how that's that stupid-unless you're implying that the Redskins don't have anywhere near that depth. That is the goal of every team though to be exactly what Gibbs is talking about. I think it is a pretty dumb quote coming from the team with the number 6 pick. If you dont have many weaknesses maybe you should have won more games.
  24. Interesting note Reyes has an ERA of 0.00 after the 2nd inning this year. Then again I am not sure he has made it out of the 5th yet so its not that impressive, and the way his pitch count is already I am not sure he will make it out of the 5th today either.
  25. Just a question CubNY but how did Ankiel look, I saw he had a few singles which is a good sign as he has that average up to about .265.
