  1. I've done quite a few ESPN auctions, and in about one in four, someone nominates the Bears' AP. In most, someone will bid on him, but sometimes he goes for $1. It works with Steve Smith, sometimes, too. I did four or five ESPN fantasy baseball auctions this year, and I always nominated Ryan Braun (White Sox) first, and he always went for $30+.
  2. Unless you think Westbrook will miss several games, I think taking Jacobs over him in a PPR league is a terrible move. I'd go Westbrook/Jennings.
  3. If using two different browsers (for example, Firefox and Chrome or IE and Opera), I don't see any reason why they couldn't both draft from one computer. As LM, I wouldn't want anything to do with helping anyone pick their teams.
  4. True, if by "worst" you mean "one of the three or four best." http://baseballprospectus.com/statistics/sortable/index.php?cid=520546 Defense isn't the problem.
  5. The song is sanctimonious crap anyway.
  6. Just fire both of them now.
  7. Marlins swept San Diego in this park a few weeks ago, and their starting lineups' average line drive percentage is about a point and a half lower than the Cubs' lineup tonight. They have guys that actually have power tho....we just have guys that swing for homeruns and never hit them So who are you talking about? Who is swinging for homeruns too often?
  8. Things don't look so good right now, but at least we've got Aaron Miles for the top of the 9th.
  9. Marlins swept San Diego in this park a few weeks ago, and their starting lineups' average line drive percentage is about a point and a half lower than the Cubs' lineup tonight.
  10. I forget if Gregg can pitch tonight, but I'd rather have him pitch here, at night, than anywhere else Your fault.
  11. LINEUP Fukudome Bradley Lee Ramirez Fox Fontenot Soto Miles Harden
  12. HE WANTS HISPLAYERS TO PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY!
  13. Bob will bring the FIRE! and INTENSITY!
  14. Take Earl Bennett. You're welcome.
  15. Somewhere Joe Morgan is smiling.
  16. That's the classic anti-Dunn argument that Reds fans used to make and it wasn't true of Dunn, either.
  17. Clutch: Derek Jeter Not Clutch: Derek Jeter
  18. at this point i'd say chances are strong that he won't ever learn this. Agreed.
  19. Is it wrong for me to wish he has a career-ending injury? Even if it doesn't interfere with his later quality of life?
  20. At the very least bat Dempster in front of Miles to minimize the automatic outs.
  21. It would have been a triple if he had hustled.
  22. Richard Daley? I bet he'd throw a mean spitball.
