I really hate defending Brady, but he had his WR group out today. That said, he’s been looking more like late career Peyton Manning the past two seasons.

What a terrible, awful, no good sports weekend. I was way wrong that losing Sean Payton would be no big deal for the Saints. The team seemed unprepared and flat today after that TB game last week. And leaving an injured Winston in for the last two weeks is just bad. The guy was wincing every time he planted his back foot. The flight to London this week should do wonders for his back. :roll:

I can’t put this all on Jameis. He has four broken bones in his back and clearly looks hurt. But if he can’t play, he can’t play. Andy Dalton can be just fine with all these weapons on offense. This is on Dennis Allen for not making the switch.

Wait, you’re telling me that Arkansas completely shits the bed, still only loses by 2 to a top 25 team and falls 10 spots? FFS.

Yeah, that was absolutely a killer. I’m seriously not trying to take anything away from the Aggies, but Arkansas should have won that game. Then there were those miraculous 3rd down conversions in the 4th quarter with Max Johnson throwing passes up for grabs off his back foot. I hate this game, every year, even when the Hogs win.

Their kicker is usually automatic. I’m sure they thought they’d have the lead and wanted to leave as little time as possible. That center’s bad snap cost them big time. What a goofy game, every year.

Oof. I really like Billy Napier at Florida but that is a BRUTAL penalty at a critical moment. It would have been 3rd and Gosl for TN at the 1, but he literally has to have 3 assistants hold him back from the ref. Unsportsmanlike, 1st down Vols, easy score on the next play. Not a good look for a rookie coach from the Sun Belt.

The meltdown on the LeBetard show will be fun. Malik Hooker for Tennessee is incredible. He’s the best QB I’ve seen play this year.

I would understand it more if the score was 42-42 and neither team could get a stop, though even then you still just get the ball in the end zone. But you allowed 217 yards total in the game! Trust your defense to not give up a TD in less than 40 seconds. Sean Payton always played the situation out this way and it drove me nuts. If you’re just basing it on probabilities, it is definitely more likely that there will be a miscue on the FG attempt than a RB fumbling the ball at the goal line. What’s worse is what Mizzou did, when they actually surrendered yardage by dancing around and taking a knee.

If Auburn loses this game to Mizzou, Harsin might get the Herm Edwards treatment walking off the field. Edit: I HATE it when teams do what mizzou is doing at the end of this game. Tied with 1st and goal at the Auburn 3 yard line, they horsefeathers around for 3 downs and try to win with a field goal. Too many bad things can happen on special teams. AND…there you go.

I know Tampa is a great defense, but the most consistent truism about the Saints is that as Kamara goes, so go the Saints offense. That said, that is absolutely a different outcome if the Bucs aren’t gifted two personal fouls on the go ahead touchdown drive. Somebody show me an angle where either of those calls are even close.

The whole team played like horsefeathers for 3 quarters and then looked great and won. Winning after being down 16 into the 4th quarter is encouraging. Sidebar-lol falcons choking again. Brady and the Bucs in the Dome next Sunday. I’ll eat my words, maybe, but the Saints are good.
