  1. I guess thats the point (Goff). I went on da interwebs and discovered PFF gave them offesason and draft grades of A and A+, so maybe they have improved greatly...but theres still Goff I could see them winning 6, 7... I’m thinking 7-8 wins for the Lions, with the Bears and Vikings worse. I do not think the Packers will be a top seed. Is someone doing a prediction thread?
  2. IMO, that’s a little bit of a reach, but 2nd place seems right.
  3. Dropping this here. Flip the Bears and Vikings and I think you’re there.
  4. Not sure I like that trade for the Cavs at all. Nope, too much for Mitchell.
  5. horsefeathers. And he’s awaiting word from the NFL on a DUI arrest from when he was a Jet. Word is that this was a traffic accident gone bad. He’s “vehemently” denying the charge.
  6. A ton of pissed off Saints fans this morning, but it makes sense. Outside of WR, the DB group is the deepest unit on the team, plus Ceedy wasn’t going to resign anyway, and word is that he was getting to be a problem in the locker room.
  7. So, what’s the deal with Scott Frost? Nebraska likely will never have the talent they once did, but he seems exceptionally terrible as a coach. He was the next big thing coming into that gig.
  8. The question is: how much did the trade rumors piss him off? Nah. I don’t think that has any bearing at all. It’s all about the cost.
  9. Am I the only confused as horsefeathers after reading this post?
  10. That sucks so bad. Sorry Tom. I was sorta rooting to see them have a resurgent season, ala Baltimore Orioles.
  11. Good. It was ok fun, but it seemed very forced.
  12. Let’s dust this off.
  13. Oh, I remember this vividly. This and the backwards pass by Aaron Brooks pretty much defined the Jim Haslett era here. All the more confirmation of the job Payton and a Loomis did in changing the culture. Btw, that missed PAT kept them out of the playoffs
  14. 4, 2, 1, 3…5 6
  15. Love this. I wish we were good again and had things like this.
  16. He's credited as a pretty revolutionary DC and won a title as a head coach. He's not the top of the top by any means but that seems pretty noncontroversial to me. By that standard, should a Dick Vermiel or Mike Holmgren be in? He didn’t even coach that long.
  17. Tony Dungy is a Hall of Famer? Seriously? Edit: Also, what a weak HOF class this year.
  18. Ray Rice case vibes.
  19. So they gave up a young slugging OF and their top picking prospect, right?
  20. Good for him. Imagine being told you’re leaving Cincinnati for Seattle.
  21. To muntjack’s point, I get some of the deals, but what a load of BS we were fed.
  22. Does Bob Costas have a lifetime deal to call games for MLBN or something? I don’t think anyone wants to hear him spin tales about baseball cards in bicycle spokes during ABs.
