  1. Woof. That Lakers schedule is brutal. Think it's going to be Pels-9th seed and Spurs-10th seed with the Lakers giving their pick to NO. I know the Lakers won a ring and that trumps all, but the AD deal is looking better and better for the Pels. They turned the players they acquired from LA into Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, Jonas Valanciunas, Herb Jones, Jaxson Hayes, Devonte Graham, Larry Nance Jr. and Trey Murphy. NOLA receives this year's first-round pick if it falls in the Top 10, and have the right to swap first-round picks with the Lakers in 2023. Further, they get to pick either the 2024 or 2025 pick, depending on which one looks better. Basically, the worse the Lakers perform in the future, the better life gets for the Pels. That's not to mention Zion or the haul they got from the Bucks for Jru Holiday. Malik Monk, Austin Reaves and Talen Horton-Tucker are the only players under 30 in the Lakers' rotation. It's going to be a difficult situation in LA.
  2. I taught there for four miserable years and I can definitely say the entire university is corrupt to the core. Entire city. I lived there for a quick minute and my aunt worked for the state in Memphis. What a shitty, corrupt place.
  3. Pels play the Lakers tonight. And as an extra bonus, if the Lakers finish with one of the ten worst records in the league (currently tied for 10th worst) NO gets the pick as part of the AD trade. Go Pels indeed.
  4. Give me Eric Musselman over any coach in the country. #1 recruiting class coming in next year too.
  5. These are the kind of games Arkansas has won all season. They have to get Notae or someone hot and their defense can win.
  6. I honestly don't believe its luck, its surely by design, for whatever reason the NCAA is out to horsefeathers over Illinois and I don't know why. The only thing Underwood can do is keep getting them in, one of these years, despite the NCAA' efforts, the match up dominoes are going to fall the Illin' way. I think you meant to put this in the bat (expletive) conspiracy thread.
  7. You did? I let out a huge sigh of relief when I heard the deal on the radio. It was going to take all the joy out of watching the Saints had he signed here. That aside, the Saints are better off with Jameis and keeping their picks instead of this debacle. Uh, you know Jameis has multiple sexual assault allegations right? Let's not act like he's some model citizen. I do, and I’m not dismissing that. I honestly don’t know much about that case 10 years ago, but I do know what a creep Watson is. I’m happy he is going to Cleveland.

  9. I’ll start. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Kentucky. I hate BAMA in football but my worst sports hate is 100% against KY basketball. Go horsefeathers yourself Wildcats. You lost to the peacocks.
  10. Yep. That deal just screams “I’m taking the most money and that’s the only reason I’m going there”. TBF guys....he won, won for a franchise that hadn't won in over a century, and nobody gave a hoot within not even a few years, spent the half decade after hearing how actually not good he is He's there to put up some numbers and keep marching towards the HOF Yeah, Kris seems to be all about his family and digging his life, then also playing some baseball. Good for him. I’d likely do do the same, honestly. But I’m also glad the Cubs didn’t sign him long term.
  11. Arkansas went 3-0 vs LSU this season and has a much better record, yet is 5 NET spots behind them.
  12. Nice little town in SE Tennessee Yeah, it’s beautiful country there, and the town is sorta quaint. Some nice restaurants too. Sorry, I just caught what you meant. Thought there might be first round games there.
  13. Aren’t there a ton of FA the Bucs need to resign? TB likely won’t be the same team next season.
  14. Sorry Old Style. That’s some BS.
  15. This has to mean LSU is getting hammered by the NCAA allegations next week. Rumors are lack of instructional control across all programs, rape cover ups, pay for play, grade fixing, and more. Let it all burn.
  16. Aggies are dangerous. The Hogs are good enough to make a Final Four run, but if Williams gets in foul trouble or has an off night, they’re toast.
  17. Will Wade canned at LSU. One of the bigger creeps in CBB gone.
  18. The only surprising thing about that Rodgers deal is that he didn't want it all in cyrpto.
  19. Enjoy.
  20. I just subscribed on the Overcast app. Southpaw has a silky smooth voice.
  21. More like Alan Page, Joe Greene, or Reggie White than LT. There isn’t a list of defensive GOATS that doesn’t include LT. Reggie White was incredible but LT was on his own planet. Personally, I’d put Donald there with Reggie White, Ray Lewis and Mean Joe. I can’t speak at all to Page, Butkus, Nitchke, etc.
  22. I feel like had Burrow not gotten a knee injury, we would have at least had OT.
  23. MF, no! This team is desperate for a playmaking WR even after Mike Thomas returns. You sign Jameis and you can sit a year. If Jameis sucks then you go for a QB in a better draft next year. Side Saints note - very interesting that Loomis met with Bienemy last weekend for 8 hours then hires Allen the next day. Also, Chiefs announce today that his contract expired. Saints OC Bienemy?
  24. Since I am all about optimism for New Orleans sports teams today, this is a GREAT trade for the Pels. Losing Hart sucks, but a lineup of CJ, Herb Jones, Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas with Zion coming in the next couple of weeks is pretty salty. The Pels have been playing great ball the last month or so and have climbed back into the play-in game.
