I know it seems easy to make a comparison with Drew calling this game, but Burrow is so much like prime Drew Brees. He just has to stay healthy.

Loomis gets most of the credit, but the Saints draft quality took a 180 degree turn once they hired Jeff Ireland. He and Khai Hartley would be huge losses for the NO front office. Ireland is no longer speculation. Reported by Schefter now. Asteriks removed. Yep. Good for you guys, bummer for us if it happens. Just look at the Saints draft classes and note the change once Loomis let him bring in a whole new staff in 2016. Again, if he gets hired and takes Khai Hartley with him, who is the salary cap wizard of the organization, it would be quite a loss for the Saints, IMO.

If you're solely talking about this year, then yeah, but for this team to overcome everything they have this season and still finish with a winning record is pretty remarkable. They are a top 3 seed next season if they are healthy and run the same roster out there, Michael Thomas included. Yeah, maybe so. With healthy Winston they are probably a 12 win team this past year. Probably wouldn't have been with just a healthy Winston. On offense alone, they spent this season without their starting K and Mike Thomas, plus the majority of this season without their three Pro Bowl OL, Center 1, RB2, TE1 and WR2. You return that healthy with even Jameis at QB and you are fine playing with this defense. I mean, I'd love Russell Wilson too, but I don't think you need him considering what they'd have to trade away to get him.

ESPN does have a way of running good things (and often, terrible things) into the ground. PTI used to be pretty decent, so they trot out a half dozen knock offs around it. Screamin' A Smith gets the ratings, now everyone on there is shouting hot takes all day. That Dan Orlovsky guy is their new flavor of the week, I guess.

They tried, but Utah wasn't having it, jazz being such an important part of their history and all. Redtails would have been great. And Guardians has finally grown on me.

Yeah, after the Vikings lose tonight, it will come down to Saints and 49ers for the last spot. 49ers win, they’re in. They lose and Saints win, NO is in.

Antonio Brown seems like a bad guy, but he seriously has some mental health issues. You worry what that guy’s going to do to himself or someone else.

The only thing that could keep him from HOF type greatness is health. He’s built like a guy from your rec league.

The Rose Bowl is nuts. In the 2nd quarter I think there’s been 4 plays over 50 yards, including a 97 yard KO return by Utah. And just now, a bomb by OSU who fumbles back to Utah.

Defense optional at Tenn vs Purdue in the Music City Bowl. The tackling from the Vols is REALLY bad.

The Saints get pressure on Brady with their front four, which lets the defense free to fake blitzes, bring in extra coverage, tons of different looks. Having good DBs helps for sure, but pass rush front the DL is how the Saints play Brady.

Dennis Allen just frustrates the horsefeathers out of Brady. If Drew hadn’t been a noodle arm they’d be 5-0 vs him at Tampa.
