  1. If this score holds, that might be the story of the game. Took the Yankees right out of the inning.
  2. Rizzo! Side note, ARod has said like four things completely incorrect so far tonight.
  3. Holy horsefeathers I really wanted Kyle to be a thing with the Cubs.
  4. Strike zone…questionable tonight.
  5. I’m as cynical as the rest of you fucks, but let’s start this thread. The atmosphere at Fenway for this game must be nuts. This is going to be fun,
  6. And yet a coach of a losing team did bail on his team after the game to go try and hook up in public, and that's a ridiculous move. I'm not defending his actions in the bar. I think he's a piece of horsefeathers human being. I just think the outrage over him not flying back on the team plane after a Thursday night game is dumb. It's not dumb if that's what every head coach does, and your team sucks at that.
  7. Good games all around next week. (4) Penn State at (3) Iowa (4 pm, FOX) (6) Oklahoma vs (21) Texas - in Dallas (12 pm, ABC) Oklahoma is due to go down after flirting with disaster all season. (13) Arkansas at (17) Ole Miss (12 pm, ESPN) A crossroads game for both teams. I think Ole Miss is better. LSU at (16) Kentucky (7:30 pm, SEC Network) Losing at the end to Auburn was bad. Getting trucked by Kentucky will bring out the pitchforks for Coach O.
  8. I don't understand the Taysom experiment's longevity. I'll say it again, Taysom is a huge part of the Saints and is a great change of pace QB to throw in there when things aren't clicking on offense, or sometimes in goal line situations. Payton has a tendency to overuse him when that is not how he's best utilized, ESPECIALLY when Jameis is finding a rhythm with his WRs. It reminds me of the Reggie Bush double reverse fumble in the red zone years ago against Tampa. Sean can get too cute for his own good sometimes. 100%. Let's see what he can do. That 3rd and long dump pass at midfield with about 3 minutes left in regulation was WAY too conservative.
  9. Worst called game I can remember from Sean Payton.
  10. Daniel Jones looks just like a young Bruce Campbell.
  11. Sean Payton is at the same time one of best offensive play callers of all time and still prone to boneheaded momentum killing decisions. Taysom chunking the ball up for grabs just when Jameis is finding his rhythm is just bad. And just to go full Sean, he then has a terrible call challenge.
  12. Some of those scrambles and throws by Auburn’s Bo Nix last night against LSU were wild. He was the difference in that game. As an added bonus, it sure is fun to watch LSU circle the drain. They’re no better than 4th or 5th in the West this year. Coach O’s seat is starting to get very hot.
  13. I should’ve stuck to my first idea. BAMA and Georgia are head and shoulders better than anyone else. Still want to see Oregon play though.
  14. Outclassed. Arkansas is pretty good, but Georgia might be the best team in CFB.
  15. I think the Bucs beat the Pats soundly. There is absolutely nothing interesting about that NE offense.
  16. Guessing he meant Ole Miss plus the points (14.5 or so). We didn’t even mention the point spread so I assume he was picking OM to win. Plenty of analysts are actually picking OM to win outright. OM plus the points, but it would not surprise me in the least if OM wins. Thinking the score is around 45-42, one way or the other.
  17. OM and the over.
  18. Memphis BBQ is overrated.
  19. It’s the most prominent thing on the Memphis skyline, that and the river bridge. An absolute embarrassment, except it’s godawful Memphis so it’s somehow perfect.
  20. The old Cotton Bowl sits on the Texas State Fair Grounds, so I have to believe the revenue between the stadium and the grounds are connected. Between the two, they have a lot of events. Could always pull a Memphis. When they built the Fedex Forum and the Grizzlies left the Pyramid, they turned that monstrosity into a Bass ProShop.
  21. It's Bama/Georgia, and then everyone else. Arkansas comes back down to Earth at Athens this weekend. Still, considering where they were just two seasons ago, it's amazing to be where they are. Also, this is the best college football weekend of the season by far.
  22. The post-Brees Saints are built around that defense. Just lights out when they aren’t missing half their guys.
  23. Feel like Arkansas can own the LOS on offense vs aTm. They have missed a ton of tackles on defense, though.
