  1. Dude..it's from 1929! Dolby surround sound was not available.
  2. ...you are welcome. I found it and knew I had to share it here. If you search the Cubs on youtube, you can also find clips of Bill Murray calling games. A friend of mine who I stay with in Chicago sometimes posted video once of Deion Sanders with the Reds being heckled all day from the bleachers. Also good stuff.
  3. I do not post often, but this is good stuff...
  4. My favorite part of Prior's night was when he got into the only real trouble of the night, and Theriot made that diving catch. Mark waitied for him at the top steps of the dugout, and yelled something to the effect of "That's why your going to Chicago!" I was 3 rows behind the Cubs' dugout. He was intense all night. He also had a nice line drive hit. Man, number 4, the third baseman looked out of place the whole game...bad defense, weak swings at the plate...
  5. Been a looong time since posting last. Prior looked strong. He struck out the first four batters on minimal pitches, and 7 through 3 innings. He looked overpowering at times, although I am wondering if the outfield mph meter was off, because he was consistently 90-91 mph on his fastball. His offspeed stuff was tough. Theriot looked very solid in the field, especially on one great diving catch on a popup to shallow left center. He made solid contact on every at bat. Pie looked like he was overmatched against the Zephyr's lefty striking out on I think 7 total pitches in 2 at bats, and only a little better against the righty reliever. Defense overall was not too steady, although Soto threw out 2 base stealers. By the way, about 60% of the crowd was wearing Cubs gear. A standing ovation for Prior when he was taken out, who allowed 1 unearned run through 6 1/3 on a bad error through the legs of Fontenot.
