    NFL Week 5

All NFL running backs are some mixture of mutally-exclusive lucky/fragile. Yeah, but MCaffrey is Mr Glass. He’s awesome when healthy but I don’t think the cold and the turf in Buffalo would make him any more durable. I’d say a 2nd and maybe 5th rounder. Edit: Patterson in ATL would be a better bang for the buck for the Bills and great in that offense.

Only mostly because of Tom Brady, but roughing the passer has to be it.

Don’t know this guy other than he is a Buffalo sports anchor.
  4. They’ll be heavily favored in their next 3. Have a great chance of being 8-1 with a win over ranked Kansas St. They’ll be ranked then. Wave always has trouble with Memphis. That said, Willie Fritz has done an amazing job here.

Mets / Jets Yanks / Giants NY is having way too much fun right now and something must be done. Sup?

The good news? Saints win a close game. The bad news? Now I have to listen to all these yahoos talk about how Taysom needs to be the starter at QB.
  7. Rank Tulane you cowards.

If ever there were a microcosm of the Saints season, the end of that half was it. Moving the ball into Seahawk territory nearing a score, but they fumble it away. Seattle immediately throws a strike for a TD. Instead of up two scores the Saints are trailing at half. Three fumbles already in this game, and a blown coverage on the first Seahawk TD.
  9. Tennessee by 7. Yeah, BAMA will be better with Young, but that Vol offense is damn near unstoppable. Btw, Tennessee at Georgia 11/5.
  10. I feel like Tennessee is going to handle BAMA in Knoxville next week. They’re the better team, and maybe up there with Georgia.
  11. OMG, Philly with these effing bunts after lead off doubles!
  12. Bummer they meet in the first round. I’d prefer either of them over the AL teams.
  13. So, you’re drafting a QB. Who do you take first-Stroud, Levis, Hooker, Williams? I’m going Hooker.
  14. yeah 1 home run in 6 innings is thrilling That was awesome. And an epic bat flip to boot.
  15. I had no idea Vogelbach was THAT fat. He would have been fat on a late 70’s AL team.
  16. Second that. I think I’m more of invested in series.
  17. Bump. About to start on TNT.

    A) the Jets are…decent. B) the Steelers might be really bad

    NFL Week 4

Yeah, but the Saints don’t need a top tier QB to win. As long as they don’t shoot themselves in the foot, they should be a playoff team. But again, they keep making mistakes and seem unprepared to play, and keep hoping their D keeps them close enough to win. That's why I said they have "horsefeathers" at QB. Winston is pretty bad, and Dalton is old and not very good, IMO. The defense will keep them in games, and probably win a few. That "hands to face" on Lattimore was a brutal call. The following PI was mostly legit as the call was influenced by a poorly underthrown ball. Tough break for NO at the end. The terrible “hands to the face” call was against Mathieu. The PI call that should have been offsetting penalties due to an unnoticed offensive face mask was against Lattimore. Btw, 9 1st downs by penalty for Minnesota, 0 for the Saints.

Saints always seem to have the "injury bug". And horsefeathers the last 2 seasons at QB doesn't help, regardless of the HC. Yeah, but the Saints don’t need a top tier QB to win. As long as they don’t shoot themselves in the foot, they should be a playoff team. But again, they keep making mistakes and seem unprepared to play, and keep hoping their D keeps them close enough to win.

Sluggish starts, multiple penalties, turnovers, blown coverages. The Saints are a poorly coached team. They’re going to completely waste their best run of great defenses since the Dome Patrol in the early 90’s.
  23. Yeah, watching the Sooners and Horns limp into the SEC is pretty fun. I’m starting to become a Kentucky believer. I think them or Tennessee can hang with BAMA for 2nd best in the conference. Edit: I just turned back to the IM/KY game. Lol. Never mind.
