They're also sending back a 3rd. Supposedly they could have had a 2024 1st and 2023 4th instead. Loomis must really believe in Payton cuz I would have taken a chance on that 2024 1st. Or, there’s a player they really like they think they can pick at the end of the first. A QB?

LOL. As if McCarthy didn’t mismanage the end of that Dallas game bad enough, that wacky formation at end that was completely stuffed was the chef’s kiss. Death, taxes, and the Cowboys [expletive] the bed in January.

The Pels are the most fun, 3rd in the West while missing their two All Stars team I’ve seen. Jose Alvarado alone is worth going.

I don’t know that Petrino is any more ick than the ick already there. If things go south there will be calls to make him head coach by mid season. From a pure football sense, BP is a brilliant OC and play caller. But yeah, gross.

Welp, it was a great season Green Wave. Just not enough talent to keep up with the USC passing game. Very interested to see if Tulane gets into the NIL game. Malcolm Glazer and Gayle Benson are big time boosters, so the money is there.

I knew they were top-4 but I didn’t realize they were the top of the conference. And anyone who hates Zion (or any other big dunker) throwing down a cool dunk at the end of a game like that is an idiot. He’s at home in front of a pumped up crowd and he throws a 360. Let him dunk. Also, it didn’t come out of nowhere. Chris Paul was being Chris Paul and still chirping at Pels players and trying to score while the game was already decided. If he’d dribbled out the clock Zion would’ve never been in that situation. Point Zion was the only good idea Stan Van Gundy ever had here. He has been absolutely unstoppable in this stretch, no matter who guards him.

Very fun to watch. They’ve won 7 in a row now with Ingram and Herb Jones out of the lineup. Zion dropped 70 over the weekend sweep of the Suns. MVP level over the last 2weeks.

USC does not have much of a defense, ND's very average QB had a great game against them and obviously Utah tore them to pieces just two days ago. Michael Pratt should feast. Obviously Caleb - if healthy - and their skill guys are extremely imposing. But between their defense and the obvious motivational difference I definitely give the Wave a chance. Thanks :hello: . Pratt likely will be a mid round draft pick, but the RB Spears might be a 1st rounder. Sounds like a very high o/u.

Tulane is playing USC in the Cotton Bowl. Holy freaking smokes! Anyone seen the Trojans play this season? I have to think it’s a bad matchup with their skill positions talent, but the Wave pass rush has been pretty stout so far.

Very interested to see how that goes. NIL and the transfer portal can turn around a program quickly.
