  1. So holding penalties can't be called on Tebow 4th quarter drives, correct?
  2. Ok, Martz. 3 knees and punt.
  3. These Denver receivers are terrible.
  4. I love that ESPN just posted an article stating that the Broncos are closer to committing to Tebow. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7341718/sources-denver-broncos-closer-committing-tim-tebow-2012
  5. I'm glad we have a Julian Peppers on our team.
  6. Was he in on the punt? I thought I saw that last week too. Maybe he just plays in punt situations for whatever reason?
  7. What's up with Fair Catch McGee back there these past few weeks?
  8. Don't worry, if it gets to that point Tebow will make a couple plays to get the Broncos into field goal range and he will be a hero for "leading" his team to a 3-0 victory.
  9. They might as well just make it illegal to hit the quarterback unless he crosses the line of scrimmage. That seems to be where we're headed.
  10. This needs to be reiterated. The lack of depth has really destroyed us this year, not just at QB. Damage all across the OLine is a normal thing to expect on a football team, except last year, when we had almost no injuries at all. Two white safeties on the same field is inexcusable by the way, and should be a fire-able offense for a GM. This has been a problem for years. When the Bears are healthy, they win. When they suffer injuries, they lose. Many other good teams can overcome injuries with their depth, but the Bears certainly aren't one of them.
  11. I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing when they rip Hanie. The guys on Comcast Post-Game Live continue to criticize him, but he didn't single-handedly lose the game. He certainly wasn't good, but he doesn't have much help either. Out of his 3 interceptions, only 1 of them was his fault and you could argue that Knox should have even made more of a play on it. I would put this loss more on a combination of poor pass-blocking and play calling and I believe that, out of the options that are available, Hanie still gives the Bears the best chance to win going forward.
  12. Yes, but he had nothing on Tebow.
  13. Smoke and mirrors... In the long run, Broncos fans will be thankful that Elway was one of the few intelligent people who didn't buy into it.
  14. The more I read about the new CBA, the more I hate it. I think I should just stop reading about it.
  15. Yep, they need to either add that award to do away with the Cy. I would propose adding a hitters award in each league, then only have 1 MVP for all of baseball chosen from the 4 award winners.
  16. Good for Verlander and I am all for a pitcher being able to win the MVP, but then aren't we missing an award? Why not add another award for the Most Outstanding hitter?
  17. And that is just the playoffs.
  18. I wish him luck, but I am really surprised he is returning to AAA. It seems if he really wants to increase his chances of getting a Major League manager job in the future, he would be looking for a position on an MLB staff... but maybe he can't get one of those either.
