    I'm all for it. Re-open Wrigley Field in 2014 with a completely renovated ballpark and a rebuilt roster that is on the upswing and ready to compete for a division title in the near future.

    Unless they finish the season strong, which is highly unlikely based on their schedule, I think they will be a tough sell for the tournament.

    I took 4 years of Spanish in high school and I have no clue what you are talking about with regard to the pronunciation of Jose. http://www.forvo.com/word/jos%C3%A9/ The Spanish you learn in a midwestern Spanish class is going to sound markedly different from the Spanish you'll hear in most Spanish communities. I don't doubt that, but listening to native Spanish speakers at the link I provided, I would still say that "Ho-say" is the closest English phonetic representation. If the argument is simply that Spanish pronunciation can't be represented 100% accurately using English phonetics, then I guess I see where you are coming from.

    I have truly never seen anything like that. Making a bad call during game action is one thing, but how can an entire team of referees just invent a call based on a replay?

    What the hell was that call???? How can the refs have possibly watched that replay for as long as they did and came to the conclusion that it was a flagrant foul? It was incidental contact caused by Bertrand trying to pull the ball free. Ridiculous...

    If you think seats are crammed in at Wrigley, you should go to Fenway (if you haven't already). I had to tuck my legs back under my own seat because my knees wouldn't fit in front of me. After that experience, the seats at Wrigley feel quite spacious. Wrigley should aspire to better than "oh, hey, we're a preferable option to the other old dump." I wouldn't call Fenway a dump at all. With the exception of the very tight seating, I think they did a really nice job renovating/modernizing it. But I agree, the Cubs shouldn't limit themselves to "let's do this like they did at Fenway."

    Yep, it was pretty awesome... a 48 yard net punt downed inside the 20. If I were a Broncos fan, I may have felt that it was a bit unnecessary, but lucky for me I'm not a Broncos fan.
