I commented about it earlier and thought I was the only one who heard it.

Ced Landrum says hello. I wave politely and pretend to recognize him. He was essentially the Cubs' version of Billy Hamilton in the early 90's, a speedster who couldn't get on base. I remember thinking he was the fastest guy in baseball, but that probably wasn't the case.

Literally the only reason Ross is on this team is Lester, he should never bat after Lester leaves a game In most situations, I would agree with you, but not in an extra-inning game with a 3-man bench.

Nice job by Russell to draw the walk. Which reminds me of the guy who was sitting behind me at Wrigley last night, talking to his friends as if he was an expert on the Cubs system and saying that Russell would probably move to the Outfield when Baez comes back up. I wanted to turn around and smack him.

Is anyone else hearing the excruciatingly annoying high pitched whine in the game audio? Commercials are fine, but the game broadcast itself is almost un-listenable on my 5.1 speakers.

I hate ESPN broadcasts. Stupid fixed strike zone graphic and terrible 5.1 audio.

What else would you expect them to spend money on? Having cheap, team-controlled position players enables them to overspend on pitching if necessary.

I have bought nearly every version of OOTP since OOTP3, but sadly I haven't had enough time to spend on it over the past several years. I played in multiple online leagues back around OOTP6/6.5, but haven't really dedicated serious time to it since then.
