I just received my postseason ticket invoice. Yikes! Those are some jacked up prices. The postseason invoice is almost as much as my full 81 game regular season package.

Coming in down 3 runs in the 7th is pretty close to a mop up role. If you can't even feel good about putting a reliever in that scenario, his roster spot is undeserved Perhaps so, but we're less than 2 weeks from September so I don't imagine they will make any moves with him. He will just see less time once the AAA reinforcements come up.

Has anyone seen stats about offensive production before and after long rain delays, Cubs-specific or otherwise? It sure seems like the Cubs offense typically comes out dead after an extended delay.

Ok, I'm a moron. Someone apparently paused the broadcast on my DVR at some point and I was watching coverage from an hour ago showing heavy rains still at Wrigley.

There is a perfectly good reason for not being able to start if the field simply took on too much water.
